When I was seventeen, I began working at a dental office in Highland Park and thats when I realized I had a passion for dentistry. I immediately saw the impact that dentistry could have on someones life. This can be anything from transforming a patients smile, to relieving their discomfort. Educating patients on their oral heath, informing them of all treatment options, and addressing all their concerns, is my goal with every patient.
I lived my whole life in Highland Park until I left for the University of Wisconsin-Madison to start my path to become a dentist. At Madison, I received my bachelors in science. I then attended University of Illinois-Chicago Dental School and graduated in 2004. After completing my DDS degree, I practiced in two excellent dental offices for the next twelve years in Chicago. However, I knew that I always wanted to return to Highland Park to treat my family and friends and thats why Im so excited for this opportunity with North Suburban Dental.
I have been practicing general dentistry in Highland Park for over thirty years and was blessed to spend over twelve of those years side by side with my father. Upon graduating from dental school, I joined my father and brother at our family practice and have been here ever since. Excellent dentistry, continuing education, and building relationships with our patients are values that my father instilled in me and is what I pride my practice on. Our practice is family oriented and I believe that good dental health is extremely important in a persons overall health and well being. I take pride in helping and educating my patients on all of their dental needs. I also enjoy all aspects of dentistry from preventive services to cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. I joined Webster Dental in 2016 upon the retirement of my brother and I am extremely happy to be able to continue to practice and devote my time and attention to my patients. During my free time, I enjoy golfing, traveling, and spending time with my wife and three children.

I trust Dr. Kacel entirely. He is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Prices are competitive and they are very clear about the cost of services in advance. Rosemary, one of the dental hygienists, is wonderfully thorough.

I've been going to Dr. Whipple since he took over the practice from Dr. Bade. 15 years at the practice in total. I'm consistently very happy with Dr. Whipple's standard of care, bedside manner, technical acumen, and calm, pain-free dentistry. Five stars for both him and his staff!

Dr Whipple and his staff our wonderful. The appointments are met on time and he's a top notch dentist from the dental school of Notre Dame University. Receptionists Chris is at the Northbrook office and Crista? is at the Norridge office both are very helpful and do post visit followups.

I recommend Dr Whipple highly I have been seeing him for more than 5 years now for general and/or cosmetic dentistry Dr Whipple has an excellent staff at both offices his work is superior his flexibility for hours for people who have to work and who have to take appointments after a 9 to 5 day are extremely appreciated and flexible. I like how Dr Whipple takes a modern approach to dentistry to help save a patient's dental issues proactively before they become problems. Dr Whipple his staff are outstanding people and I would recommend their practice highly.

The staff here is so friendly and kind! I went in for a teeth cleaning and the hygienist, Anna, was AMAZING!!! Best and most thorough cleaning I have ever had. Dr. Whipple is kind, informative, and an all around really great guy. I would highly recommend Dr. Whipple's practice.

He was so informative about what we would do that day, informative about what he saw as checked teeth, and also about next steps. Felt extremely comfortable and in good hands. He even answered questions I asked about my 2 year old daughter and what I should be doing for her. All around great experience- found my new dentist!

Karen, the hygienist, was very pleasant and good at what she does. Dr. Whipple is very thorough and answers my questions and explains things very clearly. Very pleasant. Chris, the office manager, is always pleasant and very good at what she does. She is very accommodating in arranging appointments suitable to my schedule. I always enjoy my visits to the dentist!

I've been seeing Dr Whipple for just over a year after moving to the area. I had an emergency issue that they handled the same day with excellent care. Dr Whipple took the time to explain what was going on and what options I had. I was in and out in about 30 min and my pain has subsided. Thanks!
