Dr. Nixon is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She has been practicing in The Villages, FL and has recently moved to Jacksonville. She has a great deal of experience in dentistry and is a perfect successor to Dr Gaff. Growing up around dentistry, Dr. Nixon got her start in patient care at a young age, seating and comforting patients in her father's dental practice in Pennsylvania. She quickly gained affection for connecting with patients, as well as an avid love of science. She graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Dickinson College, where she met her husband Jared, who was a Marine Corps officer at that time. Dr. Nixon still finds time to run half marathons, swim, cook, and spend time with her husband and dog.

Stephanie is a Certified Dental Assistant who has been working in the dental field since 2006. She obtained her certification from Alamance Community College in North Carolina where she is originally from. She has had a passion for dentistry and her patients! At the office, you may see Steph both chair side and at the front desk - she does both!Outside of work, Steph enjoys spending time with her 2 beautiful daughters and friends,watching college basketball (GO HEELS!),yoga, and going to the beach.
Kelsey was born outside of the Washington D.C. area but has lived in multiple states on each coast. Kelsey graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle and worked as an Opthalmic technician before decided to switch fields to dentistry. She moved to Jacksonville in May of 2020 from Charleston, SC with her husband Cody, a Naval Officer who is currently stationed at Mayport. In her spare time she enjoys all sorts of DIY projects, traveling to spend time with her family in North Carolina and Destin, FL, and spending time with their two cats (Noah & Stella) and their special needs miniaturedachshund Ellie.
Outside the office, Delilah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and eating. She is married with four children and one grandchild. She and her husband find themselves entertaining family and friends on most weekends.
Outside of dentistry, Elena has a passion for traveling. She especially enjoys being outdoors, exploring the mountains and hiking. On the weekends, you can find her with her girlfriend, Madison, and their two puppies.probably watching a sports game!

The doctors and staff at Jacksonville Family Dentistry treats you like family! Everyone there makes sure you are comfortable and really cares about making sure that questions or concerns you may have are quickly and thoroughly answered. Dr Nixon explains in detail what may be necessary in your case and the procedures and costs involved. Their equipment is state-of-the-art and I highly recommend this 5-star Office.
