A native of Onslow County, Dr. Jones began his educational journey at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry and Zoology. He then obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the UNC School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Jones is the only General Dentist in Onslow County who can provide IV Moderate Conscious Sedation and Oral conscious Sedation for his Patients. He began treating high fear patients with Oral Moderate Conscious Sedation in 1997, and attended St. Josephs University Medical Center, IV sedation program in 2007. Having devoted most of his Career to helping the dental phobic patient has allowed Dr. Jones to uniquely treat the whole patient not just their teeth.
A highly skilled and dedicated dentist, Dr. Jones has been named by the Consumer Research Council of America, Americas Top Award from 2005 to 2017. He has received awards in multiple areas including Implants, Dentures, TMJ, Sedation, Cosmetic, and Family Dentistry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Jones has continued to study and advance his knowledge for his practice. He has studied under Dr. Pete Dawson of the Dawson Academy, as well as the prestigious Pankey Institute for the treatment of Comprehensive Dental Reconstruction and Cosmetic Dental training. Dr. Jones has also attended The White Cap Institute Implant Residency, The Triangle Dental Institute Oral Implant Continuum and was named a member of the ICOI in 2017.
I joined the team at Jacksonville Dental Care in 2009 as the insurance coordinator and became Office Manager in 2017. I am passionate about helping our patients feel comfortable and making their dental visit as easy as possible. I enjoy getting to know our patients and there families. I have truly been blessed to work with such a compassionate dentist and wonderful team.
Julien Warren, a master ceramist has been in the dental field for the past 15 years. He received an Associates Degree in Dental Technology from Durham Technical Community College as well as a Master Ceramist degree from University of California Los Angeles Center for Esthetic Design. He has worked in all aspects of the dental field including dental sales, implant sales and privately owned laboratories both in the United States and Norway. Juliens many years of professional experience and broad background allow us to be able to provide the best service possible to our clients.
I have been a dental assistant for over 30 years. I love dentistry! I have found it to be a very rewarding career. I enjoy all our patients and it is great to be able to help them with their dental needs. I have worked with Dr. Jones on and off for over 15 years. I work with a great bunch of people and we have the best patients.
I am a Richlands native as well as my husband. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by our families. Together we have a three-year-old daughter who is the center of our world. Things I like to do in my free time are watching sports, spending time with family, and baking! I just graduated from the dental assisting program at Coastal Carolina Community College and recently joined the team here at Jacksonville Dental Care. I couldn't have found a better place to learn and grow in my new career as a dental assistant. My favorite part about dentistry is getting to be a small piece of the patient's journey as they complete their treatment and being there to see then end results!
My name is Jessie and I joined this amazing dental team at Jacksonville Dental Care in April of 2021. I am married to my high school sweetheart for 22 years now and we have 3 amazing teenage boys. Spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do! I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since May of 2019 and I thoroughly enjoy what I do. I take great pride in educating my patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible while in my care.

As a child I was always fearful of the Dentist. Growing older you experience so many problems with your teeth and gums. My misfortune having so many bad experiences. Unfortunately I let my teeth go, breaking, falling out. To no avail it was time to see a Dentist. Yes I had to experience two whom I wasn't pleased with. Then I found Jacksonville Dental Care & Dr Jones. Still fearful alot of aniexty. Even walking in the door, going to the chair, getting x-rays. The aniexty was in full force. Knowing the teeth I had left would need to be removed. And I was facing dentures top and bottom. I couldn't have had a better Dentist anywhere. From taking my impressions, to my upper and lower dentures. My whole experience has and still has been wonderful. His caring, personality, professional manner. Takes the time to explain in layman's terms. What to expect, and how things will be. To alignments, follow up visits as needed. And his staff I couldn't have asked for a better Dentist in Jacksonville 5 plus stars aren't enough. I highly recommend Dr Jones you won't be disappointed. Thank you Dr Jones and staff. The staff at JDC is always thoughtful, courteous, professional and personable. My son and I have been going there for over 10 years and as much as I HATE going to the dentist as a general rule, the wonderful folks there make the experience as drama-free as possible. They especially cater to me - as I have intestinal fortitude of a four-year-old when it comes to the dentist; their sedation process is second-to-none! Hands down the best dental care I have ever received (I even paid out-of-pocket to use them while in the Marine Corps.) Dr. Jones and his staff will take great care of you.

When I lived on the NC coast, I discovered Jacksonville Dental Care, and it is a treasure! Other dentists could not help me with my reaction to anesthetics, but Dr. Jones surely did! My first visit was a visit for a filling/crown, and then the surgery. All went absolutely perfectly! After that, I decided that I would ONLY go to Dr. Jones and his staff for yearly cleaning. Even after moving 2 hours away, I knew that I would get the respect and care that I deserved. They are truly awesome!

I love this place. I am poster child for poor dental hygiene but Victoria and Kassy are awesome and always take good care of me!!! Both Kassy and Victoria are always smiling, friendly and always establish a rapport w their patients. When you walk into the office...everyone knows your name and its like visiting old friends. Dr. Jones is great and the epitomy of professionalism and caring dentistry.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Jones for over 25 years. He is wonderful! He is the best dentist I have ever been to, and being a military dependent, I have been to many. He provides excellent care and he and his staff stay very current and up to date with the newest dental procedures. They are very friendly and professional, and genuinely care about your well being. Several times Dr. Jones has personally called me after having a procedure done, just to ensure I was doing well. I whole heartedly recommend Jacksonville Dental Care.
