Dr. Neil Patel grew up in Greenfield, Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at Indiana University. He then went on to attend Western University College of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Tennessee Dental Association.
In 2015, Dr. Patel had the honor of taking over Dr. Milton Cravens dental practice on Carriage House Drive following Dr. Cravens retirement. Dr. Patel has enjoyed meeting the loyal patients who have been coming here for years, and is excited to also welcome new patients to Jackson Smiles Family Dentistry. He is driven to provide the families of the Jackson community with the healthy, beautiful smiles they deserve through high-quality, comprehensive care. Some of Dr. Patels hobbies includetrying new cuisines and cooking. Hes a big movie buff, so you may see him at the movie theater. He also loves technology and playing with new gadgets. When hes not in the office, he especially enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Tina.
Brandi was born and raised in McNairy County where she still lives to this day. She received her Associate of Applied Science in 2004 and has been in the dental industry for the last 11 years. She has always enjoyed helping others and knows that her work at Jackson Smiles Family Dentistry makes a positive difference in peoples lives. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, doing home dcor crafts & projects, and running.
Angie was born and raised in Middleton, TN. She received her dental hygiene degree in 1998 from NEMCC in Mississippi. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and two children, Cayla and Colton. She also loves to run, weight train, and spend days at the beach. She has two four-legged babies, Max and Ace. Angie strives to make your dental visit as stress-free as possible and wants to help her patients keep their smiles healthy.
Sarah was born and raised in Dyersburg, TN. She received her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from UT Health Science Center in 2014. In her free time, she likes to travel with her husband and play with her puppy, Neyland. Sarah strives to educate patients and provide when with the tools to achieve their best smile possible!
Carla is a Jackson native who has been in the dental field since 1997. Carla is the proud mother of three children and enjoys spending her weekends at the river. She cares for her patients by providing a comforting, stress-free atmosphere. Carla is a diehard Atlanta Braves fan and is an amazing cook (ask her about her familys secret stew).

Intraoral cameras are slim, handheld devices that are used to stream a high-definition video feed of the inside of a patients mouth to a computer screen so that both the doctor and patient can get a close-up view of the patients teeth and gums. They can also be used to take digital impressions of teeth, which are necessary for creating dental crowns, orthodontic treatment plans, and a variety of other services. Intraoral cameras are efficient, highly-effective, and negate the need for messy dental impressions using goopy dental putty.

Gum disease is a lot more common than you might think. If your gums feel tender, or look red and swollen, dont put off seeing us because you may have gum disease. If left untreated, gum disease can lead to serious dental problems, even loss of teeth. Other warning signs are bleeding after you brush or floss, persistent bad breath, pain or sensitivity in your teeth, and receding gums. During your routine dental checkups we will monitor the health of your gums, and treat them if needed.

Dr. Patel and his staff have cured my dental anxiety! I went in for a root canal (after putting it off for 6 years) and never felt an ounce of pain during or after the procedure. They're always fast and professional. I'd recommend them to anyone!

My best experience at a dental office in years. I was treated very well at Jackson Smiles Family Dentistry. The Dental Hygienist--Kristin, my apologies if I misspelled your name--was great. Good choice and great staff. Friendly and knowledgeable and Dr. Patel did great job explaining my X-rays and what needed to be done to correct my problem. Dental hygienist was the best!

I've been going to Jackson Smiles for a few years now. My teeth are not in the best condition, but they never make me feel unpleasant. Sarah is always gentle when she cleans my teeth. I never cringe at the thought of having to go to my appointments. A couple of years ago, I had an intense toothache. Dr. Patel got me right in and took good care of me. The receptionists are always nice. They make me feel like part of their dentist family. I definitely recommend this Dentist.

I MOVED TO WEST TN in 2020. In search for a great dentist I came to Dr Patel last year. 6mos later back where not only did I recieve a very detailed checkup but we discussed Future choices that I can make concerning my dental care. I had a great Cleaning with Sarah and she allowed me to choose warm massage chair too while having my cleaning. She followed up after with some dental cleaning education on water pic which she added to my goodie bag of dental cleaning tools. Very pleased with the professional care I recieved. Had 4 teeth pulled on the bottom on the same side. It was the fastest, most painless teeth removal ever. It was like yank, pull, saw, yank. "I'm done". 5 minutes. Dr Patel is a great dentist. Very satisfied. Will be going back.

I've always had a great experience here. I've had the same dental hygienist for both of my cleanings and she's great! Always friendly, but also to the point and not overly talkative which I like. She always does a very thorough job while keeping me comfortable. I also appreciated her attention in finding that my bottom teeth were loose, and bringing Dr. Patel in to check them out. He's always efficient and informative and explains things well. Tina and Polly always make the insurance and check out process easy and are always so nice to me when I come in :) My whole family goes to Jackson Smiles and wouldn't go anywhere else!

I've had my dental care here since their opening. The Jackson Smiles team is always kind and professional, from greeting you as you come in to seeing you out. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy, just an overall great dentist, my entire family is taken care of here.

I have teeth cleaning done on a regular basis throughout the year. They do very well with it. I have sensitive teeth and they are very helpful in that area with different products and when they clean my teeth. Very pleased with their business.

I am a new patient and was very pleased with Jackson Smiles. Dr. Patel is very nice and thoroughly explains the plan for your dental care. All of the other staff was super nice and I felt very comfortable with the safety measures in place to protect from covid. I got the best teeth cleaning I have ever had as well. Highly recommend!!

I start Jackson Smiles around 2 years ago. I have never been more pleased and blessed with a dentistry. Everyone is so sweet. The remember my face and even Dr. Patel remembers some of the small details about me and my family. Although the dentist is not something most look forward to or enjoy they make it as comfortable and easy as possible.

( Staff, polly and the short haired bitter lady )act as though, minority is illiterate, I received a estimate treatment plan from polly.and she asked me to sign it, after I told her that I would not, she stated she would tell the dentist ( Patel) that I refused. I told her its not mandatory for me to sign a estimate paper detailing my future dental work, and the cost. She nor staff have asked that of every individual that comes into dental office that, an so she should not have singled me out. I wish it was more diversity there. Because the front desk staff excluding Mr. Patel wife seems to Have that slick dislike toward me as a black man ,due to me speaking up an calling things how I see them .im not one of those that will be belittled. But I will say I feel that Mr Patel an his wife are good people.
