I consider myself very fortunate; my profession has provided me a source of income for my family, joy in my daily work, and a sense of accomplishment. I am constantly learning and gaining inspiration from my team and the families that we meet daily. Witnessing the excitement when a patient finishes treatment is very fulfilling, but its even more special when a patient who you havent seen in years tells you how you changed their life.

Each day at the office, I get the opportunity to meet with some of the brightest, most talented and kind people in the community. Because I live in town, I often run into patients outside the office and I get to know their families. I get a kick out of it when a child doesn't recognize me without my lab coat on.

I invite students to intern if they are looking to work in the dental field, and every now and then Im contacted by a former patient who is considering becoming a dentist or orthodontist. I consider it a huge compliment that they value my opinion, and it is heart-warming to know that I made such a good impression on them.

There are so many exciting advances in orthodontics, and I enjoy being able to offer the best to my patients. I look for the most up to date information about how to deliver great results in the safest and most comfortable way. Thats what matters to me when selecting doctors for my family!

I attend lectures given by the American Association of Orthodontists to keep up to date on advances in my specialty. I also take continuing education courses through the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society (the local chapter of the American Dental Association) and local study clubs to stay current on other topics in dentistry and medicine.

Im an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, am on the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, and I serve on the board of trustees in the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists. I am a member of the American Dental Association, actively involved with the New Jersey Dental Association, and Im a past-president and on the board of trustees in the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society.

When Im not working, I'm at the gym or going out to eat with family or friends. At home, I like cooking, and I have an herb and vegetable garden. I enjoy my time exercising, and it has been my stress therapy for more than 25 years. In fact, Im a certified fitness instructor, and that was my job during all of my years in school. I also love music, dancing, and eating exotic foods.

Taking on leadership roles in my professional associations and in my community has helped me help others beyond my patients, which is personally and professionally rewarding. My office is active in the community, and we find fun and creative ways to get children and parents engaged. Our office participates in school and community fairs, hosts office tours for scouts, and is happy to support teams and organizations in their fundraising efforts. In the fall, we have office contests to raise money for patients battling cancer, host a Halloween candy buy-back, donate to the local food pantry, and host holiday gift drives for community families in need.

In addition, we offer college scholarships to two graduating high school seniors, and every year we treat a deserving person in our community for no charge to them. The best reasons I can give for being active in the community and for giving back is because it feels good, and because we can! My husband and I grew up here, and were raising our family here, so this community is near and dear to our hearts.

I began working with Dr. Furlong in 2001 as theInsurance Coordinator and a memberof the dministrative team. Each day, I have the opportunity to interact with more than 50 patients and their families, a part of my position that I really love. There is always something exciting going on in our office!

One thing that sets us apart is our team. Our orthodontists are fabulous at creating beautiful smiles! You cannot ask for a better team of people to work witheveryone is well educated in their fields and gives our patients great experiences in our office!

I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two teenage boys who were both patients of Jackson Orthodontics. We also have one of the cutest longhaired Dachshunds you will ever see! I dabble in interior design and thoroughly enjoy upholstery! Something interesting about me that you may be surprised to know: Dr. Furlong and I are childhood friends. We were both cheerleaders at Jackson Memorial High School and on Pop-Warner!

I began working for Dr. Furlong in 2009. I first met Dr. Furlong when she began her career more than 20 years ago while working in another office. My position in the office is the financial coordinator. I take care of the financial aspects of our patients treatment. Every day, our team and I begin with a goal to make our patients treatment far surpass their expectations. I am glad to share in the positive efforts and dedication that each team member contributes to make Jackson Orthodontics a healthy and fun environment for our patients and one another.

I reside in Jackson with my husband Walter. We have two beautiful daughters, Stacey and Katie, and two beautiful grandchildren, Maks and Julian. When I am not shopping or decorating, you may find me vacationing in the Caribbean, spending time with friends and family, or trying out new recipes.

I am married, a Jackson resident, and the mother of five children who I am so proud to call mine. Two of my children, twin boys, are current patients at our office. I cannot wait to see the wonderful results of Dr. Furlongs orthodontic treatment. I also recently became a first-time grandmother. We are always heading in different directions but when we have down time, my husband and I like to relax on the beach.

I began working with Dr. Furlong in 2013. I have been in the dental/orthodontic field since 2009 and am a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. I love the beautiful results and smiles we see on our patients every day.

My family includes my husband Ryan, my twins Aubree and Beckham, and my two stepdaughters Kailynn and Carley. When Im not at Jackson Orthodontics, you may find me enjoying Sunday brunches or dinners with my family, or spending lots of time with my babies!

I joined Dr. Furlongs team in 2015. I worked in a general dental office for a few years before finding my niche in the orthodontic field! I love working alongside our doctors and team to help our patients smiles transform into something extraordinary!

My family consists of my mom, dad, younger sister (who is my best friend), and my husband John. In my spare time, if Im not with my family, I love going on motorcycle rides with John, cooking, and shopping! Some interesting facts that you may not know about me include that I love Halloween, drive a Dodge Challenger, and my favorite food is Mexican!

I have been a RDA in a general dentistry office for more than ten years and joined Jackson Orthodontics in 2015. It is my pleasure to work closely with patients every day, doing adjustments, taking records, and coordinating our inventory.

Our doctors are amazingthey are extremely passionate about what they do which reflects in their work and success. My team reaps the benefits of working in such a positive environment, which enables us to always want to go the extra mile in everything we do! We are here to help and serve one another.

I am a mom of two beautiful children, Jada and Benjamin. My husband and I have our own business in wholefood nutrition, helping families get to and stay their healthiest. We are active in our local church as leaders of the young adult ministry, always seeking to serve where we can to make a difference. We love traveling and we are foodies who love to eat!

My family includes my husband Tony, my daughter Nina, and my dog Jet (who was named after our favorite sports team). My hobbies when I am not at work include fitness and shopping. I also love to spend time with my family and enjoy going to the beach.

I joined Dr. Furlongs team in 2012 and began working in the dental field in 1999. I am one of the treatment coordinators, as well as part of the administrative team. I am glad to be part of this wonderful team of women, who I work alongside each day.

I have been working with Dr. Furlong since 1997, and we opened Jackson Orthodontics together in 2001. When I started with Dr. Furlong, I was one of her assistants. Later on, I tried my hat at all other aspects of the office until I found my home as the office manager. In my opinion, orthodontics is the most rewarding of the dental fields. You become close with the patients and their families since you see them for more frequent visits than their general dentist. Witnessing the transformation in our patients throughout their treatment is the most amazing thing.

My family includes my husband Wally, my three sons Walter, Maximillian, and Sam, and my dog Theo. I enjoy decorating my house, shopping, cooking, being involved with my boys and their sports and activities, and spending time with my family and friends.
