Dr. Jackson opened his sole practitioner office in 1993 and has served the Queens community for the past 25 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University Dental School. After graduating from Howard University in 1986, he worked a year as a resident at the Coler Memorial Hospital and obtained extensive experience in geriatric and handicapped pediatric care. Upon completion of the residency, he worked in a group practice while providing community services to area nursing homes.
During his tenure in practice, he has continually advanced his skills by participating in educational courses. His practice includes all facets of general dentistry and offers the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry (including clear braces) and implantology.
His past participation in the National Dental Association(NDA) and the American Dental Association(ADA) as well as with current continuing educational programs allows him to provide patients with the latest and most comfortable aspects of general dentistry.
Participating in community services, such as: advisor for a Head Start Program, sponsor for both a local track team, The Metro Eagles, and a little league baseball team, Elmont South and was once Head Coach for a little league Football Team.
Dr. Rashida Cheatham is a General Dentistry practitioner who was born and raised in South Ozone Park, Queens. Dr. Cheatham graduated from York College as a pre-dental student with a BA in Psychology. Her goal was to help patients overcome the anxiety and fear associated with dental visits and treatment. Dr. Cheatham graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2009. Dr. Cheatham completed General Practice Residency at Woodhull Hospital with extended training in Pediatric Dentistry and treatment of anxious and phobic patients through a non-sedative approach. Dr. Cheatham is currently a General Dentistry Attending at Woodhull Hospital. Dr. Cheatham is proficient in all phases of general dentistry including restoration of implants.
Mrs. Zennetta Boyd was born in Tennessee and moved to Queens, New York when she married her husband, Arnold in 1981. Mrs. Boyd is the proud Mom of three and Grandmother to seven. She began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 1985 working in an office owned and operated by three dentists. In 1986 Dr. Jackson joined that office and a long-term working relationship began. Mrs. Boyd joined Dr. Jackson as his Office Manager in 1993 when he began his sole practitioner office. She is quite an asset to his office and is the first friendly voice or person you'll encounter upon your visit. she is extremely versed in handling all management issues, as well as dental assisting when necessary.
Mrs. Joanne Jackson is a native New Yorker, who is a graduate of the University of Virginia. Her career began as a Property Mgr. in Manhattan maintaining and organizing both commercial and residential buildings. In 2000, she chose to become a domestic engineer and raise her three children. Now she uses her organizational skills to assist her husband in his dental practice. She's with the office on a part-time basis and is the other friendly voice or face you'll encounter upon visiting.
Dental Assistant, Maetcha Lewis is a Elmont Memorial High School Graduate. She also has her Certificate in Dental Assisting from the Dental Auxillary Training Center. She is excited about serving in Dentistry.

Very nice staff, Dr. Jackson is very gentle with the procedures, and a no nonsense person, he doesn't sugar coat anything, he tells you what you need, and let's you know that what ever it is it's going to be ok. He's great, the office is great and I love the jazz that's plays very relaxing.

First time patient here with Dr. Jackson and from start to finish my experience was great. They have such a welcoming environment which starts with the front desk receptionist Joanne. Dr. Jackson and his assistants took good care of me in a routine cleaning. I would definitely recommend this office if you're in search of a new dentist.

I have been a patient of "The Gentle Touch" Dr. Jackson dental office for the past 4 years. I stand by my recommend of Keven P. Jackson DDS to my all family members, friends and all of my work colleagues each and everyday. Doctor Jackson is an extremely professional, as well as Joanne (Receptionist, of the Practice)and the rest of the Staff. They always greet you and welcome you into the office by name. The office is an immaculately clean and comfortable environment. Cell Phone usage (talking) is not allowed in the waiting area, which is a plus for me.

I enjoy coming to my dentist appointment the staff is very welcoming and friendly staff its feels like I'm coming to my family house. The place is nice, comfortable atmosphere, I like the jazz music, I don't feel scared fearful to come to my appointments. My whole family comes to this location. Dr. Jackson DDS and The Ladies, are very helpful and make you feel very comfortable! I was referred by a Co-worker she noted how gentle he was and how great he is with the children! What I love most about Dr. Jackson is he lets me covey what I want, then he gives his expertise ( The Professional Advise) looking straight in the eyeballs . I've been coming to Dr. Keven Jackson since 1993 when he was one of four black dentists on Baisley blvd. and Guy Brewer. When Dr. Jackson opened his own practice in 1999 I've been with him since. Dr. Jackson has always been professional and has been excellent with my dental needs. Even when he has recommended Dr. Olan my periodontics, Dr. Kolinsky my oral surgeon all are the best at what they do and give high praises about Dr. Jackson. His receptionists Ms. Boyd and Ms. Joanne are the best at what they do and have always met my needs weather it's for making appointments or dealing with my insurance needs both do it with professionalism and with a smile and even manages to make you laugh making you feel so comfortable. I consider Dr. Jackson, Ms. Boyd and Ms. Joanne family and will always recommend them to friends and family.
