Dr. Scott Jackson was born and raised in Hialeah, Florida. After visiting his cousin in Agropoli, Italy, he decided to become a dentist. He served in the United States Navy during Operation Desert Storm in 1991 as a Dental Technician. Dr. Jackson did his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1995.
Following his graduation, he worked as an associate dentist in Jacksonville, FL for three years before opening a practice in Ocala, FL. He currently resides in Summerfield, FL with his wife and three children. He enjoys playing guitar with friends and traveling with his family.
Dr. Joseph C. Joyce was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was raised in Gainesville. He attended the University of Florida earning his Bachelor of Science (1995) and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (1999). In 2004, he earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology from The George Washington University.
Dr. Joyce served in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps as a comprehensive dentist. In 2006, he returned from a seven-month deployment to Fallujah, Iraq, where he served as a dentist for the U.S. Marine Corps. After his seven-year-long military career, he completed a two-year comprehensive dentistry residency at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Joyce has completed over 900 hours of postgraduate dental education. He is the only dentist in Ocala, FL recognized as a Diplomate with the American Board of General Dentistry, one of the most prestigious recognitions in general dentistry. He now resides in Ocala, Florida and is married with three children. He enjoys fishing, surfing, boating and attending University of Florida athletic events.
Lauren is from Land O Lakes, Florida. She attended the University of Florida and obtained a Bachelors degree in Health Science Education. After working for a year, she returned to community college and received a degree in Nursing. She then became a Registered Nurse.
While in college, she met her husband and they traveled the country while he served in the United States Navy. They now have three beautiful boys. Lauren has been at Jackson & Joyce Family Dentistry for 14 years, starting as front desk reception then a Business Manager. Although she is busy with her family and job, she loves to play tennis.

All the staff is friendly and very professional from the moment you walk in. Leah is the best and most thorough hygienist I've ever met. My whole family loves and highly recommends Jackson & Joyce Family Dentistry.

Very nice people! I was feeling nervous about having my daughters tooth removed,but the whole staff made me feel better! I love this dentist. And even though my daughters insurance isn't accepted here, I think its worth going even if I have to pay. The nurse I seen today made sure I was totally comfortable before the doctor came in. They also allow parents back with their child,in which some don't. They clearly have nothing to hide. Thank you to this wonderful dentist!

It was great to meet Dr. Jackson. He is from my home town and we connected right away! Staff have ALL been pleasant to work with and take care of any concerns I had. Highly recommend this office for any dental needs. They really do care about their patients.

Had a tooth pulled today and it was easy. No pain, only took 30 min. They are the best! Always friendly and helpful. The staff and Dr. Joyce are a pleasure to get dentistry services from. I look forward to my appointments. I have recommended them to friends.

I've been using Dr. Joyce for almost a decade now...very cordial individual. The office endeavors to put it's best foot forward. Today's insurance situation is rocky and fraught with pot holes. This office tries to navigate well.

I have been looking for two years to find a good replacement dentist practice after my previous dentist moved to Gainesville. Finally, I have found Jackson & Joyce Family Dentistry and couldn't be happier. It's not just the dentists who are great and very professional and don't try to sell you on procedures you don't need, but their staff is as well. In my opinion, the staff/assistants can in many ways be just as important as the dentist themselves. I would highly recommend this group.

Dr Joyce and Sara are the best! Had my 6 month cleaning yesterday. As always, they were great. Sara is gentle and thorough. Love the bird feeder on the window! Dr. Joyce addressed my concerns with grace, skill, and practicality. Great office, everyone is consistently terrific!

Worst dental office ever!!!! Me my kids and husband went here for years.. and because I missed 3 appointments 2 of which where on a Monday I called on Friday to let them know I couldn't make it that wasn't good enough so then they tell me I have a 50$ charge I need to pay for missing an appointment and that has to be paid before I can reschedule it I said okay paid it then they tell me we will no longer be able to see you in this office cause you missed 3 appointments so they lied to me to get me to pay 50$ Worst place in the world

Always friendly and efficient, knowledgeable. Dr. Jackson takes care of our OLD teeth and does not suggest any extra procedures. My husband and I are scheduled on the same date and time...this is helpful because we drive 20 miles one way for the appointments. Highly recommend Jackson and Joyce. 8/17/22 Update on our visit with J & J Dentistry. We can't say enough to tell how GREAT this office and staff are. We just got information today to pass on to neighbors who are seeking new dental care. We could assure them positively on all their questions...right down to cleanliness! We are booked together for 2023...that will be our 10th + anniversary with the group. Rebecca did such a good job on my old teeth today...I don't want to mess them up with eating lunch!

The staff is always friendly, on the phone or in person. My daughter went in for what we thought was an emergency and they took care of her and got her in within 2 days, even as a new patient. They eased our minds and let my husband go back with our daughter.
