Jackson Family Dentistry is dedicated to excellent customer service, and an amazing experience you will never forget. Dr. Andrew L. Jackson and Dr. Celestine Varnedoe Jackson have been practicing dentistry since 1983 in southeast Georgia and as a team in Waycross and Willacoochee since 1987. They have an amazing team, who receive enjoyment from helping to make your visit an experience like no other.
Dr. Andrew Lee Jackson graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a D.M.D. degree and is married to Dr. Celestine Varnedoe Jackson. They are not only partners in life but in dentistry and have made it a family affair. Dr. Jackson has received numerous awards including Outstanding Community Service Award from Phi Delta Kappa sorority; 100 Black Men of South East Georgia, Man of the Year in 2001, and more. He is a member of the National Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry,Georgia Dental Society (President 1994), Satilla Area Dental Society (President 1995), Headstart Advisory Board, Kingdom Care Volunteer, Keystone Voters, and Civic league, and more. He enjoys fishing, working in his yard, and spending time with family.
Dr. Celestine Varnedoe Jackson also attended the Medical College of Georgia, receiving a D.M.D. degree. She has worked as a volunteer dentist with the McKinney Community Health Center, received the NAACP Woman of the Year, Outstanding Community Service Award from Phi Delta Kappa Sorority, Georgia Dental Societys Member of the Year and numerous other awards.
Dr. V is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Society (President 2000), Satilla Area Dental Society and the National Dental Association, Headstart Advisory Board, Kingdom Care Dental Volunteer, and Charter Member of Nu Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She enjoys collecting dolls, reading, doing puzzles, and traveling with family.
Drs. J and V have sponsored an Essay/ Cultural program through their office since 1991 that showcase the talents of local youth. The staff of Jackson Family Dentistry has visited the local nursing homes every Christmas since 1993 and distributed goody bags to the residents.
The Jacksons also served as parade marshals for the 2003 MLK Parade in Waycross, GA. They are both active in their churches. Dr. V serves on the Steward Board and is active with the Youth Department and the Missionary Society. Dr. J serves on the Deacon Board and as a Church Musician. The Jacksons have three children and five grandchildren.

Dr. Jackson is so kind ! He has pulled two of my wisdom teeth and I didn't feel a thing . I would recommend him to anyone . Monique , the hygienist there is also amazing !

My experience with Jackson Family Dentistry was very positive from the beginning. I first went there on a high word-of-mouth recommendation from a relative. I had several teeth removed and a set of dentures made. He was the least painful of any dentist I've ever seen, and the quality of the dentures was excellent! They weren't clunky but fit very well and look good. I can't get over how well the bite lines up and how well I can chew now. I can't say enough about the courteousness and professionalism he and his staff exhibit. Add a nice family touch and work-friendly business hrs., and you have a perfect example of how it's done. Jackson Family dentistry was my childhood dentistry in my hometown. I was visiting my hometown this past weekend and found myself with a severe tootheache late on a Friday. My mom, who still goes to Dr. Jackson reached out to them to see if I could come in on Saturday. Remarkably they opened up their practice Friday night after the football game to treat me. Never in my life have I received such service from a medical practice. They were so courteous and kind even at that late hour. They are fantastic people and great dentists!

I've been going to Dr. Jackson's office for many years. Everyone there is professional and courteous. I am disabled as a chronic pain patient, and Dr. Jackson has always gone out of his way to make sure I'm as comfortable as possible and that he causes me the least amount of pain as possible. His manner is very comforting. The hygienist who does the teeth cleaning is particularly friendly, personable, and pleasant. Although often it's difficult to get them on the phone, when I have an emergency, they will see me that day, even after normal business hours. I don't know of another dentist in the area who will do that.
