Dr. James L. Discipio received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1984 and his Master of Science Degree in 1985. Included among his professional memberships are the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Jim and his wife Nancy have three children, Nicholas, Jake and Jenna Darlene, all who are married, and two grandchildren, Sadie and Jack.Time permitting,Dr. Jim enjoys fishing, basketball and running. His dedication to family, continuing education and excellence in dentistry has contributed to his growing list of loyal patients.
Dr. Joseph V. Discipio is a graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry and has been in practice for over forty years. He maintains active membership in several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Discipio is the past president of the Chicago Dental Society and was given the prestigious honor of being named Alumnus of the Year of Loyola University School of Dentistry. He also holds the position of state dental examiner for the North East Regional Boards. Dr. Discipio has three sons and eight grandchildren and enjoys fishing and gardening. The success of his practice is credited to his caring approach and conscientious work ethic.
Mary has been in the dental profession and worked at the same dental practice for over 40 years, attributing this longevity to her love of dentistry and the many wonderful patients she has encountered on a daily basis at Dr. Discipio's office.
She is a graduate of the Morton College Dental Assisting Program and Elmhurst College, is married and has four children. Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, doing home projects and volunteering at the West Suburban Homeless Shelter and Greater Food Depository.
Kathy is a graduate of the Morton College Dental Assisting Program and has been with Dr. Discipio's office since 1980. She began as a clinical dental assistant and presently works at the front desk. Kathy enjoys being around people, which is what makes her job so rewarding. She also enjoys spending time at theMorton Arboretum and sharing herpassion for hockey with her two adult sons.
Karla is a graduate of the Everest College Dental Assisting Program and is a certified dental assistant. She has been in the dental profession for over four years and loves every aspect of dentistry, especially herinteraction with patients and seeing thetransformations that great dentisty can achieve. Karla grew up on the south side of Chicago and enjoys all genres of music and the variety of entertainment that our city has to offer. Sheespecially loves spending time with her two beautiful children and family.
Ann graduated from Kennedy King Hygiene Program in Chicago and has been a registered dental hygienist for 16 years, the past three at Dr. Discipio's office. One aspect of her profession that she really enjoys is the one on one interaction with patients and helping them improve their oral hygiene, which contributes to their overall better health. In her free time, Ann spends time in Michigan with her family -- swimming, boating and just relaxing.

Even after moving to Oak Brook 22yrs ago, still travel back to Berwyn to my favorite dental office. Have been a patient for almost 40yrs, first with Dr. Joe and now Dr .Jim. Staff there is always so welcoming and caring and very proficient in their dental care. Always willing to please and if any problems arise, just call and it will be handled ASAP. Dr. Jim is always up to date on dental procedures and is as painless as possible. Dr. Joe saved a tooth almost 30 some years ago and it is still hanging in there. I always remind Dr. Jim to remind his Dad of the good job he did.

On the recommendation of a neighbor, I chose Dr. Discipio & Associates for my dental care. He has been my dentist for the past 15 years. I've always received wonderful care from the doctor, and his hygienists. He and his staff are friendly, courteous, and professional, and make you feel welcome, and taken care of on your visit. He and his receptionists always do their best to accommodate an individuals busy schedule. Great dentist, friendly staff, would highly recommend.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Joe and now Dr. Jim for over fifty years. Dr. Jim is the rare combination of a doctor who is professional, knowledgeable, caring and friendly. He is concerned not only with your teeth...but with you as a person. I know I can always trust him and I hold him in high regard. Mary and Kathy at the front desk are welcoming and helpful. Everyone has a positive attitude and it permeates throughout the entire office.

Having dental work done by Dr. James Discipio one doesn't have to be afraid to have work done by him, he's so gentile, he cares a lot about his patients; I've been seeing him more than 25 years and I wouldn't go to see another dentist unless is necessary; his employees are also great, its a joy dealing with them, very wonderful people to deal with.
