Welcome to the practice! Thank you for your interest in becoming a patient of Dr. Trahey Maners. We look forward to getting to know you and making sure your mouth, teeth and gums are happy and healthy, as well as looking how those structures are affecting your overall health and wellness. Our team is dedicated to treating both you and your family with the same personalized care, compassion, and excellence with which we would treat our own families. We want to create a relationship with you. We achieve this by listening to your needs and together coming up with a plan to achieve long term health goals. This personalized plan will take into account the whole patient, not just the teeth and oral cavity.
Dr. Maner grew up in Williamston, NC. He attended UNC Chapel Hill for his undergraduate and DDS degrees, and graduated with honors in 2001. After finishing dental school, he completed a general practice residency in Burlington, VT. He returned to eastern North Carolina in 2002, and worked in a rural health clinic before opening his practice in 2003. His general dental practice is focused on providing family dentistry through his services and a network of select specialists.
Dr. Maners practice philosophy has been centered around comprehensive care for his patients with a focus on prevention and stability of the chewing system. In more recent years, he has expanded his scope of practice to address airway and breathing, and how they affect his patients oral and systemic health.
