Dr. Russin may be the best endodontist in the Brandon area. He is easily the best I have seen. Very caring, treats every patient like you're related.

Dr. Russin and his staff are great, thank you! I had past bad dental experiences and was able to have a successful stress-free root canal. Able to sleep the night before and the day of procedure went smoothly. Chose the oral sedation option (med/laughing gas). Make sure to follow pre/post instructions. Highly recommend.

Dr. Russin was very caring, careful and thorough. My difficult root canal was painless and I am now on the mend. I would highly recommend Dr. Russin and the anesthesiologist group that work with him for endodontic procedures.

Dr R and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I had a bad experience before having a root canal at another dentist. I came in Dr R totally assured me after a meticulous professional exam I would be ok and he could take care of the pain I had been experiencing. I had a tooth removed and a temporary bridge put in at my dentist office 6 weeks before I developed dry socket while out of town for surgery. I came back my dentist removed the bridge stitched me back up and a new pain came after the pain of the dry socket and my elective surgery. So I was told by my dentist to find a specialist for a root canal. At this point I've been in pain for over 6 weeks in one way or another and I had reached my threshold I just wanted to sleep and not take Tylenol every 4 hours. So I came in for my root canal I chose the oral sedative option with nitrous oxide. I actually fell asleep getting the root canal. I left and immediately noticed finally after all this time I didn't have pain. Dr R has a wonderful beside manner and his assistant was such a lovely lady I really enjoyed speaking with her and she was so accommodating. Thank you so much for your wonderful service and help.

Receptionist is VERY rude. Was talking bad about me to others when I was in with the doctor not realizing my husband was in the waiting room hearing everything she said. Never got a call from them to schedule procedure with sedation. I hade to contact them to get things scheduled. Doctor prescribed me antibiotics and when I had typical side effects from that medication wouldn't prescribe me a simple one time pill to counteract that side effect so I could finish the antibiotics. It's been one thing after another with these people. Honestly the worst part has been dealing with the receptionist. I know her name but won't put it on blast. I'm sure others have also been unimpressed.

I had a tooth that broke in half and needed some work, went to my dentist and got a new Crown. After several days I was still having pain. The dentist said I needed a root canal thru the new Crown and revered me to Dr. Russin. I had root canals before and it was a bad experience. All of the staff in this office were amazing. Dr. Russin numbed my mouth and did the procedure. The only thing I could feel was a gentle massage to my head. I literary fell asleep during the root canal. This was the best dental specialist I've been to in my life. Highly recommend.

I was experiencing tooth pain on upper left side. Went to my Dentist and they said I probably needed a root canal. Asked around for a recommendation and Dr Russin was recommended. I called his office and left a message of what I needed. On New Year's Day I received a call from Dr Russin himself. He discussed with me the issue and scheduled me in for the procedure 2 days later. His office got me an appointment very quickly. By this time I had been taking an antibiotic so the pain was minimal. Dr Russin reviewed the X-ray and performed an inspection of the tooth confirming the need for a root canal. He and his staff put me at ease, explaining what I was to expect during the procedure. They asked me questions regarding past dental experiences and we determined that local anesthetic would be fine for the procedure. After getting the area numb with a few shots that I hardly felt, they began their work. The complication was they the tooth had a previously placed crown on it and he needed to first drill through this, hopefully without too much damage, to get to the root canals. They used what appeared to be a nitrile cover attached to a clamp that was placed over the tooth. This kept most of the water and debris from entering my mouth. They worked almost silently for about an hour or so, routing out the root canals and putting medicine in the canals, taking an image to confirm progress and then putting a temporary filling over it. 2 weeks later I was back in the chair. They gave me a few shots near the tooth, placed the nitrile cover clamp over the tooth, removed the temporary filling, routed out the 3 root canals a bit more until he was satisfied with the results, prepared the tooth to be filled and completed a permanent filling. In the 2 week time between procedures a small edge of my crown had broken off, probably due to the porcelain fracturing when drilled. He repaired this, smoothed it out and took great care in making sure it wouldn't catch and rip floss when cleaning. I am 100% satisfied with the outcome. There was minimal discomfort during and as a result of the procedure. Dr Russin and his staff were very professional and extremely skilled in their service. I would recommend Dr. Russin to anyone needing a skilled endodontist.

Previously I had such a bad experience at an endodontist (and several other dentists in the past) that I was really panicked about finding a reputable endodontist for a root canal. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr. Russin. Dr. Russin is absolutely one of the best medical providers I have ever encountered. He was calm, thorough, meticulous and professional. He and his wonderful staff did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable about having a root canal. He was patient and took his time explaining to both myself and my husband what the procedure would entail. Dr. Russin's staff was so nice and could not do enough to help us. After a series of unfortunate dental office experiences, it was so refreshing to meet people as skilled and caring and Dr. Russin and his staff. If you have a fear of the dental office, this is the office you want doing your work. Absolutely the best.

Very professional and kind. Excellent job doing two root canals under general anesthesia with a patient who is difficult to sedate and numb. So glad to have found such a good dentist!

I am from Pennsylvania and had been to the same dentist my whole life. I was in Florida and needed to see a dentist as soon as possible. Dr.Russin was the first time I had been to a new dentist. He did an excellent job and all of the staff was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a new dentist in the Tampa area.

It is often the little things or the extra measures taken that distinguish good care from exceptional care. Dr. Russin and his staff provided the utmost level of care and compassion in endodontics - Exceptional!

I have a hard time trusting dentists especially after reading reviews about how they scam you by saying you need to get work done when you really don't need it just so they can take your money but this Dr. was amazing!! He didn't try to sell me on anything. He was honest and he taught me about my tooth and root and told me why I don't need to get a root canal. I've seen three different dentists and he's the only one who took the time to explain in detail what was going on with my tooth. He's an endodontist to be specific. His staff were all super nice and one of the main reasons why I chose to go to his office! The lady who answered the phone at his office when I called to get some info on pricing and everything was the nicest lady who did her best to answer all my questions. I called 5 different endodontist office that day to find the best one and she was the only one who took time to answer all my questions, all the others just tried to pass me on to someone else or rushed me off the phone. After my appt. I was chatting with the receptionist and dental assistant and they told me the dr also taught at the University of Florida, which probably explains why he took time teaching me about my tooth! He is super nice! I highly recommend this dr. Everyone is super nice and the doctor is very experienced and knowledgeable and kind!
