The dental office has gone downhill ever since Pamela DiTomasso sold the practice. During a recent office visit, they dishonestly abused my trust by telling me I needed to come back in the next day for over $1,000 worth of dental procedures that turned out not to be medically necessary. The billing lady, Tanya, who is an incredibly dishonest and rude individual, made it seem like I was required to initial next to certain line items agreeing to the cost. The dental hygienist I saw, Adrienne, performed shoddy work and did not communicate the correct information to the dentist, Stella. They are way too heavily reliant on the Cavitron (basically just a glorified Waterpik), simply because it is faster than manual scraping, and does not provide adequate cleaning. The so-called "treatment plan" they gave me was opaque and full of errors. Additionally, they withheld documents and other materials, requiring me to place several calls to the office and ultimately threaten them with a HIPAA complaint for failure to furnish the records. Run, don't walk, away from this practice as quickly as you can.

I would highly recommend J Street Dental! I needed a new dentist in Sacramento and searched for online reviews and came across Dr. Jennifer Hofmann. She and Majenta are extremely kind and explained every step of the process during my procedures. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. By far the best dentists office I have ever been to!

Best dental experience I've ever had! Everyone I interacted with was so kind and welcoming from start to finish. Majenta was super nice and thoughtful and answered all of my initial questions; Adrienne did an amazing job as my hygienist, she was gentle and thorough and explained everything as we went along; Joanne is the sweetest person I've ever met, and did a great job explaining my bill and the insurance, as well as setting up my future appointments. Dr. Hofmann was also a delight! My friends are really tired of hearing me talk about my dentists office, but they're just that great!

My first visit at J St. Dental, I am so happy I met so many wonderful people there Joanne, Dr. Hoffman, Adrianne, two more very nice professional people that I don't remember their names but I will eventually. I will certainly be going back. I had so many questions and each person took time to answer all of them, I appreciate it so much, they mapped out a dental plan for me , explained x-rays about my teeth etc. A dear friend recommended them i'm so thankful she did and now I will recommend them to anybody who needs dental attention or just for answers to their questions.

Kudos to the entire team at J Street Dental. I've been with Dr. Stella for over 25 hrs. She/staff are the quintessential professionals. They not only provide excellent dental care; they provide an atmosphere of friendship and genuine concern for the patients comfort and well being. I'm so happy to be with this group!!

From the moment they checked me in with a smile while they were on the phone to the gentle assistant who set me up and got me prepared and the wonderful doctor that took care of me. Everyone in this office deserves the five star including the lady who collected the fees :). What a great experience at a dental office.

J Street Dental (formerly Di Tomasso Dental) is The Only dental office I recommend. Excellent in every aspect. As a person who experiences anxiety thinking about going to the dentist, they have been the only ones I feel comfortable with for over 15 years.
