Dr. J. Scott Jones received his Doctor Of Dental Surgery Degree in 1975 from The University of Texas Dental School where he completed his graduate training in Periodontics. Dr Jones has maintained a successful practice in the same Waco location since 1977.
Dr Jones participates in mission trips with his church including service on the Mississippi Delta and St Kitts in the Caribbean. He volunteers his time with the American Business Womens Association, The March of Dimes, feeds the homeless through the Ministry of Agape International Spiritual Center and coached soccer and baseball for over 15 years.
Christina attended Texas State Technical College and graduated as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2003. Christina has been married to her husband Russell for two years and is a bonus mom to two amazing children. Christina participates in Spartan races and Camp Gladiator in her free time. She has a Non-Profit organization named, I Run For You. She is actively directing 5K races in the central Texas area for people in need.
Latisha has been working in the dental field since 2005. She attended Texas State Technical college, and graduated in 2005. After graduation, Latisha found her niche working in perio alongside Dr. Jones. Latishas favorite aspect of working in the dental field is having the opportunity to help others with their dream smile, and seeing the end result. In her spare time, Latisha enjoys spending time with her three boys.
I have been a patient of Dr Jones for 28 years. DR Jones and his staff are great. They explain all procedure options thoroughly and follow up after any procedure to make sure their patients are doing OK. My husband is now also a patient of Dr Jones. I tell everyone who tells me that they may need to see a periodontist, have their general dentist to get them in to see Dr Jones.'

The cleaning went well and it was good to hear that my flossing and care has paid off. I had very little plaque and there was no bleeding of the gums. I do have a small filling that came off. It was good to see Dr. Jones again. A good report is always welcome.

Dr Jones and his staff are wonderful. They are extremely helpful and take the time to explain everything to you. I had surgery and it was painless. I highly recommend this office.

I usually have fear of going to the dentist but I found myself very comfortable with Dr Jones and his staff. Dr Jones is great at explaining what is going on and takes the time to demonstrate the proper way to clean your teeth and protect your gums. I went back for surgery to realign my bite and to have gum grafts done. I am now a week post op and I can tell such a huge improvement. If you need a periodontist I highly recommend this office.

Best Chair-side manner of any dentist I've ever seen!! He teaches you the best practices for your mouth and lets you know your options. I went to him feeling anxious and left his office feeling hopeful. He takes the time to instruct you without rushing you. I highly recommend Dr. Jones and his friendly and helpful staff!

this dentist is horrible!!!! my mon went to this dentist &he told her that you need to go to a specialist &if the specialist would say her bad tooth needs to come out he would pull it to stop the pain....he lied.after she went to see the specialist dr.jones changed his mind about pulling it..this dentist is only out ofr $ and he don't care about his patients!!!

My husband has had great service from Dr. Jones. He has tried others and there haven't been any that gave as much time and attention to his treatment. Dr. Jones cares about the individual and not what will bring him the most money. Such a rare find in this day and time.
