Dr. Meagher opened his practice in 1989 with one assistant, one receptionist, and a part-time hygienist. The practice has been relocated two times for more space to accommodate our patients. Today, our staff includes two full-time assistants, two management personnel, and two hygienists as well as Dr. Meagher.

Dr. Meagher grew up in the Ohio and Massachusetts areas. He graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York and then went onto Ohio State University for his dental degree. While in the Army he completed a 2 year residency in General Dentistry. He lives in the Carthage area with his wife Cathy.

Dr. Meagher was chosen by the Carthage Chamber of Commerce for Health Professional of the Year. He has served on The Carthage Area Hospital's Board of Directors. Dr. Meagher has been a supporter of the Carthage Community Picnic, Winter Fest, Block Party, Local Hospice, Heart Walk, and the Breast Cancer Walk of Jefferson County. He has been an AUSA member for over 15 years. Dr. Meagher also served in the military for over 20 years, so assisting military families with their dental needs is very important to him.
