Born in Annapolis, Maryland and raised in Southern California, Dr. Pulido, better referred to as Dr. Joe, grew up on UCLA basketball during the great John Wooden years. As a result, Dr. Joe attended UCLA for his undergraduate degree (BS Biochemistry) and graduated degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS). He did spend a short period overseas attending George Dewey High School in the Philippines. He has been married to his wife, Seleste, for over 25 years and they have 5 beautiful daughters and 2 son in laws. Dr. Joe is also very involved with his Church.

As a dental professional, Dr. Joe stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, he recognizes that his patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in the Dr. and his team. J.R. Pulido, DDS, and the staff at his office also provide quality care. They are very professional and knowledgeable, and always prioritize my comfort as a patient. There's usually very little wait time if any, and all my questions are always thoroughly answered.

His in depth knowledge of cutting edge Dental technology, (combined with his skilled surgical hands), allow Dr. Pulido to provide pain free accurate and precise remedies for Dental procedures. If you are looking for a Dr. of Dentistry, someone who has dedicated his life career to helping all of us with our smile, then you have found the right person! Seriously the best experience with a dental office ever. The most honest explanation of what really needed to be done in comparison to a quote we had for our son from another office that was more than needed to be done. I appreciate Dr. Pulido's care in preserving the integrity of your teeth for as long as possible and being minimally invasive in the treatment. He has the highest quality technology and was able to do 3D printing of crowns on-site therefore doing necessary work in a 2 hour visit. Office was beautiful and immaculately clean with a beautiful calming aquarium and warm inviting staff... I can't say enough good about Dr. Joe Pulido!!!
