At J. Peyton Moore, D.D.S., we offer a range of great dental services to help our patients achieve the smile they have always wanted. Whether you're missing a tooth, need a filling, want teeth whitening, or just need a regular cleaning; we have the tools and knowledge necessary to help you.
We work hard to provide a warm and welcoming environment for every patient. Dr. Moore takes the time to discuss one-on-one with you about your dental options, and what would be best for your overall oral health. We schedule as much time as needed, so our patients never feel rushed or pressured to accept treatment.
Dr. Moore has practiced dentistry in Martinsville and Henry County since 1989. Prior to this he served in the United States Air Force Dental Corps at the rank of Captain. He is a graduate of the Medical College Of Virginia School of Dentistry, A Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and The International Congress Of Oral Implantologist.
He received the Dental Hero Award for his service at the Community Dental Clinic by the Piedmont Virginia Dental Health Foundation, and was declared the Outstanding Alumnus of Central Virginia Community College in 1995.

Dr. Moore did a crown & bridge for me in 1996. The rear tooth finally gave out cpl weeks ago so yesterday he cut the front crown loose, extracted the cracked rear molar and will do implants to preserve my bite. So thankful the implants are available because prior to this amazing technology my only option would've been a partial denture. He was an early adopter of implants and has the tech and skillset to hook you up. Chair side crew is top notch, several have been with him 20 years.

Everyone in Dr. Moore's office is easy to work with and always helpful. I am confident in recommending Dr. Moore to anyone needing a compassionate hard working dentist. I also want to say Sharon Clinton (my dental hygienist)is the absolute best. Do your mouth a favor and make an appointment with Dr. Moore. You will be glad you did.

I've had problems with my teeth since I can remember. Dr. Moore and his staff have always made me feel at home. He has given me my smile and my confidence back. My son loves him as well. We had a horrible deal with a dentist in ridgeway who had made my son terrified of dentist. Dr. Moore took the time to talk to him and calm him and reassure him that he was going to do great. Even let him hold the mirror and explained all that he was doing. That was years ago and now my son has no fears of the dentist. He loves to come. I couldn't have asked for a better dentist and a wonderful staff who always treats you like family. Best ever!! HIGHLY recommended!!

Worst dentist I have ever went to. You try to explain to him what's wrong and he still doesn't make it better. I made numerous trips to get it corrected but I don't think he knows how. I would never go back to him. He got $1600.00 out of me. But he won't get another dime.
