Martinez and Augusta GA dentist Dr. J. Perry Davis is a graduate of Augusta State University. He earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia in 1986. Dr Davis has completed 1200 hours of continuing education in the areas of Cosmetics, Removable and Fixed Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, TMJ Dysfunction, Oral Surgery, and Implants.
Dr. Davis and his wife Libba have been married since 1984 and enjoy water skiing, snow skiing, and spending time with their three boys. Dr. Davis has also participated locally in various volunteer projects, and been a part of international mission trips to Romania and Brazil.
Dentistry has been a rewarding field for Dr. Davis because it has enabled the Augusta, Georgia native to treat the whole patient, not just one dental problem at a time. This approach means looking at long-term treatment that will provide the best opportunity for our patients to maintain healthy, beautiful smiles and retain their natural teeth for a lifetime.
Dr. William Ferguson is a general dentist who graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelors degree in biology. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia and joined the practice in July 2015. He is Invisalign certified and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
This native of Evans, Georgia, wanted to become a dentist since third grade when he was Dr. Davis patient. Dr. Ferguson chose dentistry as the focus of his high school senior project and shadowed and assisted Dr. Davis during the summers while in college. Dr. Ferguson is happy to have come full circle and to work alongside his mentor today.
Dr. Ferguson finds dentistry rewarding because it combines art and science, and enables him to provide life-changing treatments for patients. He also enjoys the relationships he gets to build with patients.
When he isnt working, Dr. Ferguson and his wife Meredith enjoy planing tennis, traveling together, and photography. They attend Church of the Holy Comforter and are the proud owners of two adopted tuxedo cats.

Outstanding care! I have such gratitude for the quality and attentive care I receive from Dr. Davis. He is a professional and thoughtful dentist and my experiences have always been painless and comfortable. I have no more stress or fear of dental procedures knowing I'm under his care. The entire office staff is extremely welcoming and warm. We are so blessed to have this practice in our community.

Dr. David Ferguson treated me today at Bela Dentistry where he is filling in for my Dentist Marion Durst who passed aesy last year. As a child, I was severely traumatized and feared dentists especially when I had to be numbed for dental treatment. Dr. Durst was awesome for the the 44 years he treated me. I almost cancelled my appointment at Bela Dentistry because of my fear with dentists. Dr. David Ferguson was informed of my trauma experience. When he numbed my mouth, the only thing I felt was a small sting. After that I felt zilch. I gave Dr. Ferguson the thumbs up. Dr. Ferguson was personable, delightful, funny, compassionate, gentle. etc . It is apparent Dr. J. Perry David trained him well. It is rare that you meet someone who was raised with the same manners such as yes ma'am, yes sir, thank you etc. A Kudos goes to his parents for raising a fine human being. It is nice to know that if an emergency arises and Dr. Ferguson is not at Bela Dentistry, I can call the office on Columbis Road for an appt. My fears of dentists have evaporated from my clouded brain. Lol Dr. Ferguson is awesome and I would recommend him to anyone.

Wonderful experience, and who can say that going to a dentist. He asks you questions and "listens" to your answers. Great sense of humor and and firm handshake, thanking you for allowing him and his staff to work on your teeth.
