Dr. John Bishara, DDS was born and raised in Nazareth, Israel. His last name, Bishara translates to the annunciation, which is the announcement of the incarnation by the angel Gabriel to Mary(Luke 1:26-38).
Dr. Bishara attended Valdosta State University, where he received his Bachelors degree of Science in Biology with honors. He then pursued his education at the University of Detroit Mercy to earn his Doctoral Degree of Dental Surgery, DDS.Since earning his degrees in 1999, he has been practicing General and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr, Bishara spent his first four years practicing dentistry in St. Simons Island before moving to Marietta, Georgia to establish his own practice.

Dr. Bishara named his practice after his two children, Julie and Joel, before their recent addition, Joelle. First time visit. Normal cleaning by Jill...had an excellent experience! Very gentle, great personality, top notch customer service. Dr. Bishara repaired broken tooth, again perfection! He explained each step of process and assessment outcome. Found my new dental family!!! They deserve 10

Came in for a routine checkup, and before I'm even in the dentist chair they're telling me that I need to pay for a specialized x-ray service that isn't covered by my dental insurance. I told them that this doesn't seem right since my insurance covers all routine and preventative services, and I've never had to pay for a routine checkup before. They tell me the reason is that this x-ray is not considered preventative, they use special frequencies...So here's where the alarm bells are going off: they are automatically trying to force you to do specialized non-preventative procedures before they've even looked in your mouth to determine if you need it or not. I tell them I decline that x-ray service, and they say that it's fine as long as I sign a giant waiver stating that I am fully responsible for pretty much anything going wrong in my mouth. No thank you, I leave. I contacted my insurance later, gave them the procedure code, and they agreed with me: this shouldn't be the initial x-ray procedure used in a routine checkup. Furthermore, they confirmed that I actually was 100% covered for that procedure anyhow.

I can't say enough great things about J& J Dental from the front desk, to the dental hygienist, dental assistant and Dr. Bishara. I must give a special acknowledgment of ***Mrs. Tabitha***. Long story short I came in for a root canal on my front right tooth. It was a process of getting the right color, fit and comfortability. This included several trips to the office. I admit it became tiring and/or frustrating, because I needed things to be right. Tabitha, is very professional, kind, patient, understanding and genuinely loves what she does. Dr. Bishara is very nice, listens, takes his job very seriously and cares for the needs of his patient. Special notation: my root canal was painless! during and after. TIPS: If you're getting a crown put on a front tooth I highly recommend setting up an appointment to go to the lab so, they can see you in person. I honestly would do this the first time around to avoid any delays, if feasible. The temporary crown color they use is a vivid yellow so, be prepared. Thankfully, facemasks are the new normal, at least, for now. I will be a repeat customer :)

Excellent dental care for adults and children! Our family has been coming for 3 years! Dr. Bishara is great. Very down to earth and straightforward. His dental hygienists are kind and accommodating. A very friendly experience. Located next to the Wendys at East Lake, easy to make appointments for all 4 kids! Great dentist in East Cobb!

I went to J and J Dental to have a cleaning and a RCT done and was the best experience that I ever had, the staff was very friendly and willing to help me in all my needs, they really showed me that they care about their patients . I would recommend Dr Bishara and his staff 100%.

Every single staff member is absolutely amazing, everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful and the doctor truly knows what he's doing , I had a emergency root canal done , and I felt great the next day , no pain , no discomfort, I am truly so grateful for Dr. John Bishara and his wonderful staff !

Im one whos been terrified of going to the dentist since i was a child. That changed when i was dying in pain and needed a root canal immediately. They fit me right in, everyone was so nice, and made my overall experience great. Ive been back several times now and everyone remembers you... they are always accommodating and the Dr is amazing. I highly reccomended

J and J Dental is a wonderful dental place. Dr. Bishara and his staff made my procedure a great experience. I don't do well with going to the dentist but everyone here made sure I wasn't feeling any pain and were very reassuring. Carmen even called my insurance company to make sure they paid their portion. Dr. Bishara made my teeth pretty and now I smile with confidence. J and J Dental all worked as a team to make me comfortable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I love smile now!!
