Dr. Cross has been a practicing periodontist for over thirty years and is one of the few periodontists in the United States trained in microsurgery. All of Dr. Cross procedures benefit from high magnification techniques that reveal more detail and allow him to deliver the highest level of precision to his patients. The microscope allows Dr. Cross to visualize greater detail in specific areas and provide patients with treatment that is more effective and comfortable for Springfield patients.
Dr. Cross is one of a select few who have committed themselves to microsurgery. The surgical microscope allows him to see details that allow for precise and exact treatment. Having a magnification range of 2 to 26 times that of the naked eye provides critical information for atraumatic and successful treatment. The microscope allows Dr. Cross to treat what others cannot see.

I can't say enough about Dr. Cross and his phenomenal ability to put his patients at ease, not only during a consultation but also before, during and after a procedure. Any dental procedure is nerve-wracking and anxiety-ridden enough, but his gentle way, soothing voice, and coaching of stress relief exercises is a balm to the mind and soul. His kind heart and caring attitude is not only for the patient but also extends this graciousness to his staff as well, which speaks volumes of his character. I highly recommend him to anyone considering a grafting procure.

As soon as I walked into the office, I immediately knew that I made the right choice. The greeting from the receptionist and the Doctors assistant were very kind. Doctor David Cross was fantastic, he set down with me and explained everything and answered any questions I had, he didn't make me feel rushed. Him walking my husband and I to the front desk to say his goodbye, was very professional, and it made me appreciate the friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend him to as many as I can. Dr Cross discovered I had gum recession, which would lead to bone loss and future tooth loss. He recommended gum grafts, which will protect both the jaw and tooth integrity. The procedures resulted in a healthier gum line! I highly recommend Dr Cross!

Awesome customer service. I was glad to see the attention that the office had given to the health and environmental concerns of COVID19. The doctor and staff continue to provide detailed examinations and point out other concerns noted in examine review to ensure good dental health care.

Nobody wants to go to a periodontist, because face it, that means you've got problems. That being said, a professional, kind and courteous staff is not one of the problems you'll ever have! They take great care of me here and I love that they even offer early morning appointments if needed.
