Dr. Mohammad Izadi is a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, which is a specialty in dentistry that involves the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. He attendedHoward University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in May of 1992 and graduated in the top four with honors. He then entered the orthodontic program and graduated with the highest ranking, and thus earned his specialty degree in orthodontics.

He started practicing orthodontics in May of 1994 at several busy orthodontic practices in the greater Baltimore area until December of 1998; when Dr. Izadi started his own practice in the Mays Chapel area of Timonium, MD. This is a very convenient location to Lutherville, Cockeysville, Sparks, Monkton, Owings Mills, Phoenix, and Towson, and was expanded and totally renovated into a cutting-edge practice in 2014.

Dr. Izadi also started his second practice in the Cascades at the Potomac Falls Professional Center in Sterling, Virginia in May of 2005. This location has a Pediatric Dentist aboard, and also is convenient to Potomac Falls, Reston, Herndon, Great Falls, McLean, Ashburn, and Vienna.

I am passionate about what I do best and have invested most of my life in: orthodontics. Not only do I love building confident smiles, I also enjoy interacting with patients. What is exciting about what I do is that no single mouth looks exactly the same, so orthodontics remains challenging and fun. Dr. Izadi has electively passed the written and oral parts of the American Board of Orthodontics exam in 1994 and 2001, respectively. He also completed the presentation of six special orthodontic cases assigned by the Board from start to finish in February of 2007 and therefore has qualified as a lifetime Board Certified Orthodontist.

He has passed two regional board examinations and holds licenses to practice orthodontics in both states of Virginia and Maryland. He constantly takes continuing education courses and will continue to deliver the best possible care that orthodontics may offer for both children and adults.

Dr. Izadi shortly lived in Zurich, Switzerland, and then immigrated to the United States when he was 17 years old, and is an Iranian-American. As a child, he grew up in Isfahan; a living museum known for its beautiful antiques, architecture, Persian carpets, artwork, and handcrafts. He learned how to weave Persian carpets, and was amazed and appreciative of great intricate carved artwork on wood, copper, and silver by older master craftsmen. He also enjoyed having a fish tank and collecting antique coins and paper money into his high school years, during which he did a lot of miniature paintings on glass.

Dr. Izadi has always been very independent, and lived in different parts of the State of Maryland, including Lutherville, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, Hunt Valley (Cockeysville), and briefly in Annandale and Arlington, Virginia during his final year of dental school and orthodontic residency. Dr. Izadi currently resides in Potomac with his wife; a general dentist whose practice is in Bethesda, MD. They have a son and adaughter in addition to a beautiful Mal-Shi named Henry.

When hes not in the office, Dr. Izadi spends time doing yoga, gardening, and being with his wife and children. When time permits, the family loves to travel, both in the states and abroad, to learn about different heritages and cultures. Above all, Dr. Izadi is passionate about raising responsible, caring, and ethically sound children, and being a supportive husband to his wife. In addition to his work in the office, Dr. Izadi has supported St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Doctors Without Borders, Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, our local fire departments, and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. He and his wife also plan to hold a charity day twice a year, to provide dentistry and orthodontics for children who cannot afford needed treatments.

I absolutely love my job as an Office Manager. Being able to educate and help each and every patient to maintain a beautiful smile for almost four years brings me such happiness! Having a bachelors degree in psychology helps me communicate with both patients and their families regarding their orthodontic care, insurance benefits, and treatment process.

We are a welcoming practice, and I work diligently with our Treatment Coordinator to run an effective and well-managed practice. I also help the staff and my uncle; Dr. Izadi in the clinic as needed. We are dedicated to our patients and the care we provide, and this makes our office run very smoothly.

I recently joined Dr. Izadi and the team, and am really enjoying every part of my job and how well we work together as a family. My job consists of answering our phone and checking our voicemail system throughout the day, greeting our patients, coordinating the schedule for easy flow, handling patient charts according to HIPAA, ordering and maintaining positive reports with families, and referring doctors. I also assist our office manager and Dr. Izadi with running an efficient and organized practice.

I really look forward to going to work because I love working as a team, and I always feel very accomplished at the end of the day. I love to travel and explore the outdoors! Being out on the water in my kayak is my absolute favorite. There is nothing better than relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature.

I have worked in the dental field for more than 40 years, and here at Izadi Orthodontics, I serve as our clinical coordinator. I oversee our clinical staff, assist Dr. Izadi with patient care, and manage the timely return of all lab work, thus coordinating all clinical work with our patient coordinator, sterilization management, and inventory control.

I really enjoy seeing a patients facial expression after their treatment has been completed. There is nothing more enjoyable than seeing the product of your work. Our team at Dr. Izadiss office is truly one of a kind. We work together as one, and we make every day enjoyable and fun. I enjoy every day at the office and look forward to the next!

In my downtime, I love to decorate my home and sew. I am a very creative person and decorating allows me to express my sense of style. When I just want to totally relax, I enjoy sewing, which allows me to free up my mind.

I have been working with Dr. Izadi for more than six years. My job consists of handling our current and new patients, obtaining diagnostic records, utilizing a digital dental scanner (i-tero) for our Invisalign patients, help with patient education including proper oral hygiene, assisting our clinical coordinator with dental inventory, and of course, assisting Dr. Izadi with detailed orthodontic patient care. The best part of my job is being hands-on with patients and be able to advance their treatments effectively to create healthy smiles. I really form an understanding of each and every patient which is very intriguing.

I consider working at Dr. Izadis office a wonderful blessing! As an employee and a former patient of Dr, Izadi, I decided to complete a course in expanded functions to become a Certified Orthodontic Technician. I enjoy being a part of patients treatments and seeing the beautiful progress they make. That is whats making me love my job! I work on patients, help taking photographs, X-rays, impressions, maintaining a sanitary environment, and assist Dr. Izadi in all aspects of clinical treatments.

One of our other employees and I are both bilingual, and always glad to translate for our Spanish- speaking patients to make them always feel comfortable, and to be able to easily communicate with Dr. Izadi and other staff members. I love spending time with my friends to go out to different restaurants to eat and have a fun social time after work!

Working in Dr. Izadis office has brought me a wonderful opportunity, work experience, teamwork, and friendship. I have learned so much in orthodontics from working with Dr. Izadi, my great co-workers, and completing a course in expanded functions to become a Certified Orthodontic Technician. My goal is to better serve our patients to reach the beautiful smiles they have always wanted! I stay in charge of OSHA and run the Sterilization area which remains one of our top priorities.

Im bilingual in both English and Spanish so I am always available to facilitate communication between our Spanish-speaking patients, Dr. Izadi, and the rest of the staff as well! I love spending time with my family and learning new skills all the time.
