She attended The University of Texas at Dallas and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Andrew Xu came to the US when he was sixteen years old. After college, He was accepted into the College of Dentistry, University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, He was accepted into the Advanced Education of General Dentistry program at the University of Oklahoma to further improve his knowledge and clinical skills in comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Xu practiced general dentistry for 6 years before he decided to specialize in Endodontics. He obtained his Master of Science in Endodontology and certificate of Endodontist from the School of Dentistry, West Virginia University.
Dr. Xu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics which is the highest honor in Endodontics, awarded by the American Board of Endodontics. To achieve this honor, Endodontists must pass rigorous tests and clinical case presentations. Dr. Xu is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Hamdard University in 2005, Dr. Quamar moved to Dallas where he resided for many years before relocating to the East Coast. In 2009, he completed his advanced post-doctoral training in Periodontology at New York University, after which he moved to Philadelphia, completing his masters degree (MS) in Oral Biology, Periodontology, and Oral Implantology at Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2012.
Dr. Quamar is excited to be back in the Dallas area. He has a true passion for Periodontics and believes in autographing all of his work with excellence. What he loves most about being a periodontist is the day-to-day patient interaction, allowing him to provide each patient with optimal oral care.
Dr. Anas Athar first became interested in dentistry as a child, but as he grew up, it turned into a passion the moment he realized what a big difference a dentist and specifically, an Orthodontist can make in peoples lives. Thisdrovehim to meticulously study Orthodontics, after completing my dental school, Dr. Athar did his extensive Orthodontic training at Saint Louis University. Hes the only dual-trained Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist and Orthodontist here in Texas.
Striving to consistently utilize the most leading-edge technology for his patients, Dr. Athar is the leading Clear Aligner Provider who also specializes in various advanced imaging modalities like Cone Beam CT. At the end of the day, there is nothing more important to him than providing the newest and safest treatments for his patients so they can smile proudly no matter where they go.
One of the most rewarding aspects of his profession is how genuinely happy his patients are when their treatment is completed, and their new beautiful smiles are revealed. Hes also glad to see once-fearful patients excited to sit in the chair and strike up casual conversations. Dr. Athars motto: I would do anything and adopt any technology, new or old, that will produce the best results for my patients!
During his 20+ years of being in the dentistry field, he was recognized by numerous awards. Hes also been blessed with the opportunity to visit faculty at reputable dental schools nationally and internationally and feature at numerous national and international seminars. This keeps him up to date with new developments in Orthodontics.
While hes grateful to call Dallas, Texas home, he also likes exploring new places just as much. When Dr. Athar not traveling, he loves playing cricket and learning new things. Being a family man, he enjoys spending as much quality time as possible with family and loved ones.

The receptionist Precious worked very hard with my insurance to get me set up with IVY Dental and went there today very informative dentist and other personnel very kind and caring. Made me very comfortable being there relieved any stress I might have had thank you Ivy Dental for your kindness and service

Ivy dental is one of the best places to go they had me in and out within an hour they worked on a payment plan with me and they told me how everything was going to be up front they were super gentle and they know what they're doing I recommend this place for anybody

Dr. Maher Lawand & his team are the best around town. They're really caring, professional & patient-centric. I was there for a couple of hours for a procedure and multiple members of the team checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable and doing ok. Dr. Lawand genuinely cares about his patients and took the time to explain what was going on, my options and empowered me to speak up and ask questions to make the best dental decision. The staff was very professional, personable and thorough. The dentist explained my options and described in detail my treatment plan. I've been in search of a new dentist and now I have found her. Expect the best customer service from the moment you walk in until you complete your treatment and leave the building.

I am petrified of the dentist but I had a broken tooth with a horrible infection. Ivy Dental was able to see me right away even though I wasn't an established patient. They were very kind and compassionate and were able to provide assistance right away. I highly recommend this practice and am grateful to them for providing me with relief from extraordinary pain.

I had an amazing experience. I was welcomed by Erica, she was very welcoming and she provided excellent service. I felt like I was at home. Then, Jasmine was outstanding very friendly and knowledgeable. My dentist provided me with a lot of good info to take care of my teeth. I'm happy I came back.

No wait upon arrival. The front desk was very friendly and professional. The dental assistant and dentist knew what they doing and were very efficient in their work. I hate getting the numbing shots but they prepped me in advance of they shot it was a non event. They did not rush the work for preparing me for a new crown. They do it right.

I went to Ivy Dental for a second opinion on dental work. Everyone was so very nice and helpful. That being said, I will have my insurance company change my primary dentist to Ivy Dental. Such kindness.
