I landed at Ivy Creek after a recent poor experience at another dental office. The previous dentist diagnosed me but was very condescending and insensitive about my condition. I took a year off of visiting any office because of the shame I left with. As a new patient at Ivy Creek I was extremely skeptical about my visit considering my past. Lamara is my hygienist. She gave me time, attention, education, told me things about my dental history (not just cavities) that I had not shared. She went as far as 20+ years back. She said, "Did you have braces about 20 years ago?" I'm like yeah LOL. At that moment I knew she was a gift from God. Today was my second visit. I was seen for periodontal cleaning. I was very nervous but her queuing eased all of my anxiety. There was no pain whatsoever, just mild discomfort. She highly experienced and EXTREMELY GENTLE! She did an Invisalign assessment on me but when I declined, no one pushed me or tried to talk me into it. Dr. Patel is very easy going, knowledgeable and it's obvious she mainly concerned with patient care. I really like her a lot too!! Also-There's a lot of education happening all around the office so if you're a nerd, you'll love hearing all the back and forth amongst the dental team :-) The office is extremely clean and smells nice. The first visit is about 90 minutes. My cleaning was under an hour with no wait time. Last but certainly not least was the front desk team. They are all very sweet and extremely professional. The clinical staff is excellent. They document what they tell you with pictures and X-rays. However the office is not capable of supplying insurance companies the documentation needed for pre determination of benefits. It took four months to get the proper paperwork submitted for myself and after five months the office staff still was not able to supply the correct information to our insurance company for my wife's predetermination of benefits.

The woman who did all this to me didn't speak to me at all, she didn't communicate with me to tell me what they were going to do, nothing was very quiet. and they didn't clean my teeth, they only charged me for x-rays that I didn't ask for. I left there with pain in my gums. All that didn't seem right to me because the receptionist had told me that cleaning was special and finally of accounts they left me with other things. Just to get the money. (Original) Mi experiencia fue que no me gusto hice cita para limpieza de dientes y me metieron hacer radiografias y a picarme cada diente la mujer que me hiso todo esto no me hablo para nada no se comunico conmigo para decirme lo que iban a hacer no nada estaba muy callada y no me limpiaron mis dientes solo me cobraron por radiografias que yo no pedi sali de ahi con dolor en mis encias.para mi no se me hizo correcto todo eso porque a mi la recepcionista me habia dicho que la limpieza estaba en especial y al fin de cuentas me salieron con otras cosas . Solo para sacar el dinero.

I called to schedule a cleaning. They said they were running a special for cleaning at $60 so I did schedule an appointment and went there on 8/30. The hygienist did some X- rays and measured the periodontal pockets and I heard only 1, 2 and 3. These are the healthy numbers. Then she told me that I have bone loss and I have to do maintenance every 3 months. I had cleaning done every 6 months and no dentist ever told me that. I even had cleaning done at Quintero Periodontics last year in June and they didn't say anything about bone loss. The hygienist was running scare tactics trying to convince me to sign off for their maintenance treatment. She was bragging about her 36 years of experience. Usually people bragging about themselves are not that good and this lady wasn't either. Another lady came in to present me the treatment plan and would have to pay $221 every 3 months. I didn't want to sign and I asked if the promised cleaning will be done. I was told the hygienist has another appointment and she will not be able to do my cleaning. After spending one hour and 50 minutes at that office I was told they do not have time to do my cleaning. I would like to mention another important thing. A young doctor came in to look at my X-rays and talk to me. One of my teeth has a small chip in the middle of the tooth. The doctor said it will not be a good idea to remove the old filling and put a new so she proposed to shave the edge of the tooth to bring it down to the level of the missing section. I couldn't believe a dentist will recommend shaving the real tooth instead of replacing the filling. Without any cleaning done I was asked to pay $40.00 for the consultation. I will not go back to this office and I do not recommend to anyone.

They do excellent work here. Not a only are they good at their job but they really do care. I have a lot of anxiety not to mention other problems and it makes it rather quite difficult to get work done. Most get mad at me and I end up never going back. But this staff is so kind and patient. If your looking for people who are gonna do the job right and actually care about the person this is your place! Many thanks for great work and caring staff! Especially to Ally and Dr. Patel!!!!

The receptionist was amazing! The doctor was absolutely fabulous and friendly; however, I gave the place three stars strictly because of the hygienist. She was so rude. I stood both times while my daughter had work done. She snapped when I asked questions and she got offended when I asked her to put on a fresh pair of gloves after she touched a bunch of things including the chair and computer. I asked if there was another hygienist because I would probably go back; however, after finding out she was the only one, I'm not sure that I will be back. It's a shame because it's right by my house. We'll see what happens. Again, receptionist perfect, doctor perfect, five stars for each of them. The hygienist maybe two stars and that's being nice.

Ivy Creek Dental Care is the best! I've always felt anxious visiting the dentist, but from the moment I entered the office, I felt instant relief. Every interaction I had was positive, and every staff member was polite and knowledgeable. Ms. Lamara is the best dental hygienist. She called me prior to my appointment to introduce herself. She let me know what my appointment would consist of, so I knew exactly what to expect. I learned so much from her in only one visit. If you are looking for a dental office that makes you feel right at home all while addressing your dental needs (of which I had plenty), then visit Dr. Patel and her wonderful team. I promise, you will not regret it!

AMAZING! I had about a month before my insurance ran out when I came in and they worked with me to get it all done in time. The staff is so kind and just amazing. Dr. Patel is so nice and really cares about her patients. My dental tech was Ally and I cannot tell you how amazing she was. She was so sweet and became like a friend to me. She was just as excited as I was to be getting my teeth fixed. She was amazing! Everyone there is amazing and so invested in their patients. Thankyou for everything!

I made an appointment as a new patient moving into the Lawrenceville area. I selected them because I received their information in a mailer and they were only 15 minutes from my home. I told them I was 2 months overdue for a cleaning. When I got into the exam room they did the x-rays and then special x-rays and then the 2,3,4 deep pocket tooth check. As I waited to see the Dentist after all of this the Hygienist told I need a deep cleaning, topical app varnish along with fluoride, occlusal guard and full arch ($330) locally applied Antibiotic $116, adjunc pre-diag test $33. What they did not understand is a have a GREAT dentist in Buckhead, I just did not want to drive to Buckhead. I have a beautiful smile (my own teeth) because I maintain my teeth. Remember I went for a CLEANING. They send an Office Staff person in to tell me my cleaning will cost $1077 of which my portion would be $514. They verify my benefits with Anthem/BCBS and I have $4924 left because I maintain my teeth very well. I know we've been in COVID but when did a semi-annual cleaning go up to $500 with Insurance. And I did NOT get my teeth cleaned. She wanted to know how I would like to start paying for this treatment and teeth cleaning. Are you serious? After being there for almost 2 hours and no cleaning, they billed me for $88 dollars. WOW! I think they owe me

Today was my first appointment with Ivy Creek Dental. Everyone on staff was great. The front office staff, the hygienist, the dental assistant, and the Dentist. I was a little hesitant about getting X-rays because I'm currently pregnant so the front office staff called my OBGYN office to get an official ok. They really went above and beyond. I am not typically a fan of the dentist in general but they were all simply amazing. The dental assistant, hygienist, and Dentist were all very thorough and made sure I understood the process and treatment plan.

This facility is amazing!!! From the friendly/helpful staff to the place being immaculate to the assistant an dentist being exceptional! I have not been to the dentist in years and I couldn't be happier with this office. Highly recommend it

It takes a lot for me to leave a review. Something really special must've happened in my interaction with that business that will make me motivated to give a positive review. I'm like most people if something goes wrong that's motivational enough to be negative...unfortunately us humans are wired this ways. However today's review is totally positive! My entire experience at this dental office was great. But what made it even more special is my interaction with Lamara, she's a dental hygienist at this office. Lamar, took the time they educate me and exactly what the situation was. She educated me, and helped me to see the importance of what steps need to be taken next. Unfortunately like most men attempt to not go to the doctor or Dennis as often as I should. This is something I will hand have to changed! I want to be here going strong in 105 years old. That's not gonna happen if I continue on the path I am on...Lamara helped me realize that! "An ounce of prevention is better than 10 pounds of cure."- Unknown. I want to talk to the men directly that are reading this review. Be proactive in your over all health. And for the love of the new year go see Lamara, she is awesome, you won't be disappointed.

I want to say how wonderful my appointment at Ivy Creek Dental Center was. I was in pain and they were able to get me in to be seen the next day.And came up with a plan to get me better.The front desk and clinical staff were all very professional. I recommend Lamara the hygienist to everyone. She really knows how to help you with your dental hygiene needs. I highly recommend Ivy Creek Dental Center !

I've been going here since last year when the office opened up and every time I leave, I feel a lot better about my smile. the Doctor is extremely well at communicating with me and answers any questions I have. Hillary is very helpful when scheduling appointments and making sure I am attended to in a timely manor. The staff who works in the front are also friendly and always make me feel more then just a client. I would definitely recommend anyone who is in the metro Atlanta area to come visit this establishment.

Literally the best cleaning I have ever had! Everything was so thorough and the entire team and Hillary the manager at the front desk was great. I got there right on time, they took me in on time, took their time doing my cleaning and exams and then explained the necessary treatment. Overall super good experience, would definitely recommend to family and friends and will continue coming here regularly.
