Dr. Bryce loves the outdoors whether it be hiking/biking/backpacking to hunting/fishing or outdoor sports/activities. He graduated SDSU honors college magna cum laude. Then he graduated from UofMN Dentistry with honors. Dr. Bryce grew up in a working class home in the area and his wife is from Hancock area of Michigan (northern UP). They have 3 boys, Stetson and Bauer and Bridger. Dr. Bryce loves helping families achieve their oral health goals with peace of mind.
Dr. Robert (Bob) Crosswait grew up in Spearfish from the age of 9. He received his undergraduate degree at Black Hills State University and graduated dental school at Loyola School of Dentistry in Chicago. Dr. Crosswait opened his practice 30 years ago and has been serving locals of Spearfish and the tri-state area ever since. Dr. Crosswait is married with 4 children and has 3 grandchildren. He enjoys living in the Black Hills where he is able to fish, hunt, bike and go boating. He also enjoys riding his moped scooter around town during the summer and on nice days.

During my most recent cleaning at Ivory Family Dental I had to end the cleaning prematurely because the exam area was so loud, stressful and chaotic. The open concept in the exam area and checkout area of the office allows patients to hear the personal information of other patients as well as the screaming, crying, and moaning of distressed patients. This was the case during my cleaning. I couldn't hear the hygienist over the screaming and crying and had to end my appointment to leave the building. Very stressful experience. I also felt rushed and herded. They may be scheduling too many patients. I won't be returning to Ivory. I've found a practice in Rapid City that informs me of the cost of my visit upon check-in, schedules ample time for appointments, and has private exam rooms. Exceptional dental practices are out there. Keep looking.

I have enjoyed this clinic for many years for their ease and efficiency, but I have now taken my toddler in for her first dentist appointment, and they were so wonderful to her. They were very welcoming to her and answered all her questions. They did what they could with her but never pushed her too hard and were willing to work with us for what she was comfortable with. Our family is very happy their care!

Staff was awesome. Everyone knows what they are doing there and does their job well. I have a fear of Dentists and sometimes I don't do well or even get sick while I am there. They adapt well to my situation, and the prices are fair. Thanks for the help

Ivory Family Dentistry is a fluid, functional and accommodating team that took care of the family in a timely manner. It was a good experience all around and the kids enjoyed it! We walked away feeling well taken care of. Thank you Dr. Wilen and the team!
