Ben won a coveted scholarship in theIdaho Dental Education Program and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Creighton University School of Dentistry. After dental school, he and his wife, Diana, jumped at the opportunity to purchase a dental practice in their hometown. The couple have two children, Olivia and Jase. Diana, a Sandpoint native, enjoys craft making, gardening and all the local beaches. Olivia loves all things school and Jase loves playing with toys and cousins.
Fun facts about Dr. Hull despite being a dentist he is terrible at golf! He played on the Sandpoint High School team and intramural leagues in college, but the more he plays the higher his score gets. He is much better at removing a wisdom tooth than sinking a putt for par. He loves the outdoors fishing, hunting, backpacking, etc. He is not, however, an avid skier despite having grown up in Sandpoint.
Dr. Hull takes many hours of continuing education each year in dentistry to expand skills, stay abreast of technology updates and learn current ways to serve patients. His interests are primarily in surgery, implants, conscious sedation, and digital applications in dentistry.
Dr. Russell Stephens was born and raised in West Jordan, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University earning a Bachelors Degree in Biology. He then earned his Dental Degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles California. After dental school Dr. Stephens completed a residency in the United States Air Force in Washington D.C. at Andrews AFB. He spent a year of continuing education in general dentistry as well as Endodontics, Oral Surgery, IV Sedation, and Cosmestic Dentistry. After his residency program he and his wife were stationed at Holloman AFB in southern New Mexico where he spent an additional three years of active military service as a Captain in the Dental Core treating fellow airmen in the Air Force.
Dr. Stephens and family felt drawn to the mountains and space and found a home in Sandpoint Idaho with Ivory Dental. I fell in love with the people and communities of Newport and Sandpoint. The beauty of the area reminds me of all the camping and four-wheeling I did as a kid in the Uinta Mountains with my family. My wife is from Washington and Im from Utah, so we found a perfect middle ground.
Dr. Stephens loves to make patients smile, and bring a positive attitude to the office. We know that some people have had bad experiences or just get nervous. When we show them that we like to have fun and focus on their needs, we hope to lighten the mood and make it a better experience for everyone. Russell loves to be creative and take the time to understand patients needs and wants, and meld those with his knowledge and experience to help them achieve a healthy and happy smile. Dr. Stephens and family love to be outside playing sports (especially golf), riding bikes and just being together.

I had a cleaning and a filling. If you suffer from allergies or severe asthma you will want to warn the staff in advance to your visit. I had to use my emergency in-hailer twice due to overwhelming perfume and fabric softener . I almost had to leave with out the work getting done it was so overwhelmingly strong on one of the staff members assisting. So give them a heads up, if you have issue like me! Wonderful dental cleaning, she was very easy on the teeth and gums. The dentist is great and they have a Very nice staff.

I had a bad tooth that needed to be pulled and it was painful. They got me in right away. They were really helpful in solving my problem. Now I have no more pain. Thank you so much

Can't say enough about this office. I have had lots of dental care over the years and this has to be one of the best offices I have ever used. Professionals who do a fantastic job in a friendly manner, never making you feel uncomfortable. I have a wonderful new smile that I love!

Ivory Dental made my visit as possible even going the extra mile to provide a blanket (I was a bit cold.) Additionally, all items in the general arsenal to address sensitive teeth were applied with care prior to cleaning. I made another appointment in six-months.
