Such a great experience! The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They answered all my questions in great detail. I'll definitely be changing Ivory to my primary dentist going forward.

I had a terrible experience with Ivory Dental and do not recommend anyone to this practice. When I went for my annual cleaning, I noticed something was off. Not only was the routine cleaning uncharacteristically painful, when the hygienist went to take my x-rays she needed to have multiple people assist her. When I asked her if she had done x-rays before, she said she was new to the job and in training. I dont mind helping folks learn, but usually practices ask you if its okay. What I had a bigger problem with was that there was no one supervising or teaching the trainee how to do these procedures. The inside of my mouth from the x-rays were completely torn and in a lot of pain. My regular cleaning took over 2 hours and I was in pain for days after. When I tried to contact the office with my complaints, no one from their office will call me back. The receptionist has been incredibly condescending and not transparent. Their office said they would make it right, and we are still waiting on that accountability.

Dr. Chait is very patient and caring. She explained everything clearly. Highly recommend this clinic.

They're about money not the patient. My wife tried to cancel her appointment and because it wasn't 48 BUSINESS HOURS in advance they charge $125/hour of work that you're supposed to get. Even though they call around asking people to come in. Please make sure to pay attention when going here. We will not be recommending this place nor returning! Good luck!

The ladies here are so sweet and gentle! The decor is amazing and such a relaxing environment. I hate going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to coming here because Dr. Chen is cool as heck!

I'm a new resident to DC and I have to say Ivory Dental is the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff, hygienists, and doctors are all warm, open, and kind, while the office is clean and inviting. I will definitely be coming back and cannot wait for my next visit. (Special shout out to Dr. Chait who answered all my questions and helped me make an informed decision to get Invisalign!)

Dr. Felder & Bianca were wonderful. They were personable, friendly & kind. I appreciated them taking the time to answer all questions and accommodating me when I arrived too early before my appointment. I had an overall special experience! This dental office had a family like atmosphere that was stylish and clean. I was asked by the Dr. what type of music would I like to hear during my cleaning. This gesture put me at ease and allowed me to relax during the process! I was consistently checked in on and that was very comforting.Getting work done on your teeth can be very nerve wrecking and Dr.Felder had a keen attention to detail. This is my love language haha. I appreciate the effort it takes to go above and beyond. I look forward to seeing them soon. I appreciate them so much for helping me have a beautiful smile!

Everyone at this practice is incredibly nice and very caring. The care given to me was explained every step of the way. I never was a fan of the dentist, but I am now a convert! Could not imagine a better experience.

I hate to do this. The people here were nice to me at first, and I'm all about support. I'll start with the positive. The place is clean and stylish. The staff is friendly and they will try to make you feel comfortable. Now.... They are extremely unprofessional, so if professionalism is as important to you as it is to me, this is not the dentist for you. Earlier this year I took out a loan through Lending Club to pay for what my insurance wouldn't cover to get work done on my teeth here. I was laid off in April, and had to postpone part of the work. I've been trying to get this place to refund the money since then. Meanwhile I am responsible for these payments as an unemployed single mother of three. I have literally been begging them to do this since APRIL. I explained how dire my situation is. No one cares. I just tried to call again and someone literally picked up the phone and hung up. If I don't keep paying this money to Lending Club, my credit suffers. I have no words for how cold and uncaring this business has been. They refuse to refund my money. I literally have to look into getting an attorney. Also, they have rescheduled appointments several times at the last minute. They've had me waiting to be seen for an hour. Don't do it y'all.

Dr Felder was amazing! She was super personable, friendly & so sweet! It was like chatting with one of my girlfriends & that is the exact interaction that I wanted when looking for a black owned dental office. She was also so gentle & thorough with my cleaning!

The staff here is very kind and helpful. This was the best dental visit I've had in tears. Throughout my cleaning Dr. Martin and Bianca were checking to make sure I was doing okay. They took their time to assure that teeth were cleaned throughly. Throughout the appointment they also answered every question I had. Overall it was a great experience from start to finish!

I don't understand why this place has 5 stars. I went for a cleaning appointment beside of getting the water all over my face while getting my teeth cleaned, I never received the care plan which they promised they would do the next business day. It's been one month and nothing. They charged me 500 dollars for a standard appt. My experience was pretty bad and I picked this dentist based on the 5 star reviews but that wasn't my experience.

The entire staff is always wonderfully supportive and encouraging. I truly dislike going to the dentist but you ease my pain. The care you provided me with was phenomenal. Thank you for always taking my concerns into consideration and for always being happy to answer my questions. You and your staff provide the very best of care, and the ambiance is amazing.

I always have really positive experiences here! The entry space atmosphere is really cool and non clinical, and everyone who works there is professional and friendly. I had a really good experience with Dr. Felder and my dental hygienist Bianca, both made me feel comfortable, and were straightforward and helpful during my cleaning. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience, great dentist, great staff. The only thing I could possibly complain about is parking in the area, but I'm the one that chose to go to a dentist in the downtown area. The care you get is worth the effort it takes to find a parking space.

I have been coming to this dental office for a long time. The entire staff are friendly and professional and the hygienist is very personable. Dr.Hancock is an excellent dentist, she is very knowledgeable & helpful. I highly recommend her for all your dental needs.
