I truly love being an orthodontist. It is very rewarding to be involved in the process of helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, hechose to join the oral healthcare field because of his own experience as a patient. Undergoing orthodontic treatment as a teen had a significant impact on his smile, his confidence, and his oral health. It was one of the best gifts his parents gave him, and he wanted to be able to provide that same gift to others.
Dr. Iverson strives to stay current on the latest developments, findings, and treatment modalities for patients. This helps to make treatment efficient, and helps ensure ideal timing and treatment to meet each patients individual needs.
Dr. Iverson enjoys giving back to his community by volunteering with local youth groups and organizations. He currently serves as a troop scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America and is also active in his church.
In his spare time, Dr. Iverson enjoys traveling, camping, surfing, exercising, snowboarding, and watching movies. He lived in Bolivia for two years during his undergraduate years and is fluent in Spanish. In recent years, Dr. Iverson has developed an interest in studying languages and is currently working on Italian, French and Portuguese. He also loves spending time with his family. Dr. Iverson has been married to his wife Tammy for 29 years, and together they have raised one daughter and three sons. He hopes one of his children will someday choose to become an orthodontist so that they can work together.
Dr. Mona Wahab is a native of Northern Virginia, growing up in McLean. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as her post-doctoral training in orthodontics from Howard University College of Dentistry. She was among the top students in her class, receiving a number of awards and distinctions throughout her years of study there. Before that, Dr. Wahab completed her Bachelors degree in Neuroscience with honors from the College of William and Mary.
Dr. Wahab is a board-certified orthodontist, also known as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Becoming board certified signifies the orthodontists pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence in orthodontics. She is Invisalign certified and has received extensive training in treating crowding, cross-bites, skeletal jaw discrepancies, and other orthodontic malocclusions.
Dr. Wahab loves her profession and her favorite part of being an orthodontist is seeing the joy in her patients faces when unveiling their smiles at the end of their treatment. When not working on beautiful smiles for her patients, Dr. Wahab enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their two boys.

Christys role as our insurance coordinator involves verifying insurance benefits, submitting and auditing claims, posting payments and following up with insurance company to make sure we are maximizing benefits for our patients. On occasion, Christy can be found assisting in the clinic working with the TCs as a Records Tech.
I love interacting with our patients and their families. There are always so many great conversations! I love working with Dr. Wahab and Dr. Iverson because they put their patients first and they also make sure their staff is taken care of. I had first-hand experience as a former patient!
Originally from Chicago, Dallas is an Army Veteran. She shares her life with her two dogs, Moe and Princess. She loves to workout, dance, and hangout with family and friends. If shes not at the gym, shes probably eating tacos somewhere.
Beyond the office, Diana enjoys time with her husband, two children, and friends. She loves going to the beach or pool, listening to music, watching movies, playing tennis, and shopping with her daughter.
Esther is the mother of two teenagers and they have one cat. She loves to spend time with family and friends. Esther loves to laugh and her beautiful loud boisterous laugh is what her colleagues love about her as well.
I enjoy working with a great team and amazing doctors. Dr Iverson is the kindest and fairest boss a girl can ask for. Our office is filled with a group of people who genuinely enjoy what theyre doing. The environment is lively and fun, making for an awesome experience for our incredible patients!
Fereshta handles a wide range of duties to ensure growth and productivity of the practice. She supports the doctors in various capacities. Her main focus is working with team members by instilling a spirit of continuous improvement and teamwork. She communicates regularly with the staff and coordinates the implementation of office policies. Her goal is to maintains a harmonious flow of business for the practice.
Fereshta comes from a large family based here in Virginia. Most of her time away from work is spent at family functions. She is mom to two teenage sons that keep her on her toes. She is a very hands-on mother and the number 1 advocate for her younger son who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. When possible, she occasionally works as an educational advocate for families with special needs children like her own. Fereshta says her children and husband are her first priority in life.
Hannahs role as an orthodontic assistant includes walking patients through procedures, changing patients wires, scanning with the iTero for clear aligner therapy, and much more. She also assists the doctor during laser procedures, putting braces on, and taking them off.
In dentistry, when you improve a persons smile, you not only change their teeth, you change their life. I take pride and enjoy being an intricate part of each patients transformational experience and journey. Dr. Iverson and Dr. Wahab care about each member of the team as people not just employees.
Kenisha received her certification as a Chairside Dental Assistant May 2000. She graduated with honors from the Applied Career Training Technical School and then went on to earn certifications as a Dental Radiation Technologist and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.
I love watching patients smiles transform and seeing the happiness/confidence they build overtime. The excitement that some patients bring on deband day feels like almost the biggest reward of the job.
Sarah spends most of her working day in our on-site lab. She prints 3D models and creates appliances and retainers. When needed, she also provides patient care and assists the doctors with procedures.
I enjoy working with a great fun team, who genuinely care about their patients. I love watching the relationships between the staff and the patients. One of the best parts of my job is passing out fresh baked cookies to our wonderful patients and watching how much they enjoy it!
My favorite part of my job would be seeing the transition of our patients smile! We see a wide range of patients and it never gets old. A bright smile makes my day. I love my doctors because they are great people which makes them even greater doctors in my opinion. They truly care about our patients. My doctors are genuine and two of the best I ever worked with.
Beyond the office, Tinas very family-focused. She and her husband have two young daughters, Gianna and Mia, and a dog named Zeke. She loves being around her family, staying active, cooking, and exploring with her husband kids.

Dr. Iverson is the most awesome Orthodontist----genuine, friendly, caring and knowledgeable! His staff is also equally great! I am 100% satisfied with the whole experience (wearing aligners as an adult)--and appreciate all their wonderful care. Thank you!

I am writing this review 5 years after getting my invisalign and learning all the wrong things this office did during my treatment. Needless to say, I am redoing my invisalign and paying for a 3 months treatment again because my teeth slowly returned to their original shape and form despite wearing my night retainers religiously. Here is what I learned that wasn't presented to me during my treatment that costed me my sweat and tears 7k out of pocket: Invisalign has a 5 year warranty. I was never told this. So had I known, I would have considered getting my teeth fixed sooner and wouldn't have to pay anything. The orthodontist is supposed to provide two retainers following an invisalign treatment so you have a back up. I only got one! The orthodontist should have completed an interproximal reduction (shaving between teeth and to make space) because I have crowded teeth. This wasn't even presented to me as an option, and my new orthodontist mentioned the teeth will go back to their original shape because there is no space for them. They also didn't bother to fix my overbite, which the new orthodontist is doing now by having me wear rubbers for and additional three months! Overall. Horrible experience and do not recommend this Orthodontist.

I can't say enough good things about Iverson Orthodontics. Drs. Iverson and Wahab are amazing providers who spend time with patients and their families explaining the plan of care in great detail. All of the technicians are highly skilled and extremely personable. The practice obviously invests a great deal of thought, time, and money to provide their patients with the best possible experience. I highly recommend Iverson Orthodontics!

My family LOVES the team at Iverson Orthodontics, including Dr. Iverson, Dr. Wahab, Hannah, and Staci (only to name a few of our favorites). The entire team is fantastic, and they always go above and beyond... making themselves available for emergencies, including nights and weekends. Three of our four children have gone to Iverson with our oldest just getting his braces off... and his teeth look incredible. Now only two to go! Thanks to Dr. Iverson (and team) for everything.

The office always looks for ways to improve with fantastic doctors and technicians. My daughter's teeth look great and appreciate the commitment to keeping her teeth straight after the braces were removed. The office offers ice cream socials from time-to-time which is fun too.

My son broke two brackets in his first month of having braces. Iverson orthodontics was very responsive and got him in the same day I called. They are all so nice and professional. This place is run like a fine tuned machine.

The team at Iverson Orthodontics is top notch, from the folks at the front desk, to the finance team to the assistants and orthodontists themselves. I cannot say enough about both Dr. Wahab and Dr. Iverson - a great team! They worked with our family on a tight timeline, and always took time to discuss the treatment and progress with me as a parent. Their incentive system is creative and keeps the kids even looking forward to ortho appointments. I recommend them without reservation.

This was my first experience dealing with an orthodontist. It was positive through out the whole process. Professional with every staff member I had to interact with was A1. I would definitely recommend them for your orthodontic needs.

Dr. Iverson is a wonderful orthodontist! Two of my kids just had braces put on. He even came back into the office on a weekend to help my daughter. Everyone in the office is courteous and enthusiastic. Thank you!

My three kids have all had a combination of braces and aligners with Iverson. Dr. Iverson, Dr. Wahab, and all of the techs are lovely to work with. We started at another orthodontic practice and they recommended pulling permanent teeth to deal with overcrowding. We wanted to try expanding in order to avoid extractions and Dr. Iverson was willing to help us try expanding, even though we knew extraction was still a possibility in the end. Happily, we are almost done with treatment and all three kids have beautiful smiles and kept all of their permanent teeth.

Dr. Iverson, Dr. Wahab, and the rest of the staff are top notch. They are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The best part is that make what can be an uncomfortable or even scary experience for kids (and adults) as easy as possible. The results have been fabulous as well. I 10/10 would recommend them to anyone looking for an orthodontist.

I just took my 10-year old son in for a consult and I am so impressed with the professionalism and care we received! Dr. Iverson was wonderful and let us know we did not need to come back for another consult for a year. I felt so good about the care we received and will absolutely go back to Dr. Iverson in one year to check in to determine the best plan for my son's braces. I found Dr. Iverson based on the glowing reviews and I can absolutely attest to them!
