Dr. Munther Salem grew up in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Benedictine University. He then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Salem is an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois State Dental Society. Dr. Salem has also been on two medical mission trips to Jerusalem treating special needs children. Dr. Salem enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter. Dr. Salem is happy to be back in the South Suburbs where he grew up to provide excellent patient care to the Ivanhoe Family.
Dr. Shah completed his dental education at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and has been practicing dentistry since 1999. In the years since, he has devoted himself to creating an environment in which patients know they are welcome as soon as they walk in the door. He is focused on providing excellent dental care and helping patients stay comfortable throughout their visits. Dr. Shah believes in giving patients the time to ask questions about their health and providing them with knowledgeable answers.
Pianist, molecular biologist, engineer, and dentist are the words that can be used to describe Dr. Christopher Nguyen. Dr. Nguyen grew up in Fairfax, VA. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nanomedicine Engineering at the University of Virginia. Following his undergraduate education, he pursued a Master of Biomedical Sciences degree at Midwestern University where he conducted research involving potential cures for Alzheimers disease. Finally, Dr. Nguyen attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Nguyen is extremely proud to be a part of a group of individuals driven by the goal of helping the community achieve better oral health. When hes not providing quality dental care, in his free time Dr. Nguyen enjoys watching The Office, skiing, and weightlifting.
Dr. Kevin Patterson grew up in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh. He then attended Northwestern University in Chicago where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Patterson is a fantastic dentist and an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois State Dental Society. Dr. Patterson was also past President of the South Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Patterson enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and snowboarding.
Dr. Exorphe grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors in Nursing. During dental school, Dr. Exorphe mentored elementary students interested in a career in healthcare. Dr. Exorphe has a professional membership in the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry. Outside the dental office, Dr. Exorphe enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Dr. Reddy was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. After graduating, Dr. Reddy completed a General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital, a level 1 trauma hospital in New York, NY.
A firm believer in patient education, Dr. Arrieta is a specialist in periodontics, the treatment of all the supporting structures of the teeth, including the gums, and the placement of dental implants. Dr. Arrietas skills enable many patients to complete their entire treatment plans at our location, avoiding the necessity of being referred to another office.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Loyola University, where he also made the Deans List, Dr. Arrieta earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Northwestern University School of Dentistry. He continued his advanced specialist training at the University of Iowa where he received his Certificate in Periodontics.

Dr.Nguyen and his assistant Yahilin were GREAT! My wisdom tooth was putting me through it and he came in and saved the day. Literally took like 5 minutes to get the tooth out! Thank you guys so much

My visit was a most pleasant one, the entire staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I was nervous at first But they took their time and talk to me until I forgot about why I was nervous.

I absolutely HAD to get my top wisdom teeth removed due to the amount of pain I had been experiencing. I googled, came across them, read the reviews, and decided to give them a call. I called at 10:15 am describing the pain I was feeling and I was able to get an appointment for 11 am. I met with Dr. Salem to have two of my wisdom teeth removed and was in and out by 12:15. Painless. They were all amazing and moved quickly. I would absolutely recommend Ivanhoe Dental.

I called to see if they took 2yr olds. This will be their 1st dentist appt. Consuela stated "Yes we take them, as long as they're compliant." Compliant?! 2 yr olds?! I didnt bother to further the conversation.

I am truly pleased with the high quality of care received as a patient at the Ivanhoe Dental Group (IDG). I left my previous dentistry because IDG provides consistent education about each process, the treatment is administered in excellence and the staff members are professional and very kind. IDG also shows appreciation for their patients by giving incentives from time to time. I highly recommend the Ivanhoe Dental group to anyone for their dental needs. Today I called around for a dentist that would take an Emergency walk-in because ,I was in a tremendous amount of pain and needed a tooth pulled. I ran into this place And the staff was beautiful my overall experience was excellent from the time I walked in the door till the time I left with my tooth pulled, All in about one hour. Thank You!! I was recently recommended Ivanhoe by a family member and it was such a great decision. Dr. Salem is very thorough with his check ups and even took the time to call me after I was having some discomfort with one of my fillings. He took the time to explain what was going and provided a timeline for recovery. Along with a great doctor they have a great support staff that makes me feel at ease when I walk in the door. 10/10 do recommend!

I really wish that more black people in neighborhoods like Riverdale Illinois would recognize that they are being overcharged. Ivanhoe Dental charges sometimes double of what non-black people in surrounding neighborhoods are being charged at other dental offices. A simple Google search and a 15 minute drive could save you thousands. You're welcome!

I was referred to Dr. Salem by a friend after I was experiencing some issues with work done by my prior dentist. Dr. Salem was able to take care of all of my problems and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Everyone in the office is extremely pleasant, helpful and kind. I will continue to visit Dr. Salem and his wonderful staff at Ivanhoe for years to come.

The staff at Ivanhoe Dental is amazing! They make you feel at home. The dental office is very clean. The service I received was great. You immediately notice how they follow COVID protocols to ensure the safety of their patients. I HIGHLY recommend Ivanhoe Dental! You will not be disappointed!

Ivanhoe dental group did not provide a good experience I had a cavity filled with no prior pain less than 24hrs after filling was done it came out an I was in huge amounts of pain it took them a week to get me in to get it resolved an I still felt unsatisfactory work was done so I'm currently looking for a new dental place to perform the work I Do not recommend please save yourself the money and time. Once they make a mistake they tell you it can happen anywhere and it's not there fault TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN. If I could give zero stars I would
