Dr. Medina grew up in Delano, graduated from CSU Bakersfield, and was Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corps after serving two deployments to Iraq as an infantryman in 3rd Light Armored Reconaissance Battalion.
He was accepted to a couple of dental schools but fell in love with Nashville during an interview there. At Meharry, Dr. Medina was Academic Vice President of his dental class and involved in research featured at the Hinman Research Symposium. After graduating dental school, he worked as an associate with a corporation and a private office in town. Dr. Medina decided to open his own practice to control his own standards in patient care.
Agripina Martinez is a licensed dentist in Mexico and a licensed dental hygienist with over 20 years experience as a hygienist and over 30 years in the dental field. After owning a practice in Mexico, she immigrated to California where shes since been practicing dentistry as a hygienist.
Agripina is an experienced provider with skills and care to tailored treatment that goes above and beyond. She runs a non-profit 501c3 organization,DenToRa Inc.where she raises funds for her continuous mission trips to provide dental treatment for underserved people in Mexico.

So far so good. I made an appointment & didn't show up, a few years ago. Today, i finally mustered up the courage to try again (I'm terrified of the dentist). I spoke to Daniel and he verified my insurance and set me up for my first appointment. I do feel like this guy cared and tried helping me a lot. Even to the point of a lil encouragement. I remember a couple years ago Dr. Medina got on the phone with me to ask why i was scared and he tried helping me with my fears then. He didn't have to do that. That act of kindness is why I'm coming back to him when i am ready. He took that time to chat with me, and it wasn't a waste. I feel like this office cares. I'm looking forward to my appointment on Tuesday.

This Dentist is terrible! He has his assistants do most of the work that you would want him to do! He also doesn't like doing any work that he feels is difficult. He sends you to someone else for everything!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

This is by far the worse Dental facility I have ever been to. If you're not HISPANIC they do not have any respect towards you let alone know how to be professional. I had an appointment scheduled for fillings. Days prior they called and tried to book me an appointment for a root canal for the same day of my appointment for the fillings so I told her I have an appointment an hour prior she said oh just come at that time. So when I go to the back the assistant was so rude, I told her I'd like to know the price before you continue. I asked for the Doctor because she was so rude, this lady came in upset, yelling asking what did I want I said I told the assistant already she said I'm asking you what do you want! I told her I left work because you guys told me both will be done she start over talking me saying she makes the appointments, she wouldn't do that. I said let's just do the root canal she said nope your appointment is for fillings! Then I asked to speak to Dr. MEDINA she tells me "Dr. Medina will not speak to your kind" I said excuse me? I attempted to grab my purse and leave she tried to block me, and prevent me from leaving. As I approach the front desk and start talking she tells them to not talk to me and told the entire room that I hit her..Very unfortunate to have to deal with discrimination & the racial profiling! I have a recording I'll post. Instant hate when they see us DO NOT GO HERE!

First off no one seemed to know how to find all of the information I filled out online so different people called me several times asking the same questions. Then show up for my appointment and the papers they gave me to fill out were like nothing I've seen. Wanting me to consent to procedures and information before the doctor ever saw me. Then one section was in Spanish only and I was told to skip that section. The place felt completely Illegitimate. I jut left before they saw me.

Horrible customer service. Refuse to accommodate. I live 45 min away and they refused to let me bring in my two elderly parents on the same day of my appointment because their "policy " is that only two family members are allowed to be seen the same day. Mind you I told them we only have one car, I'm driving from 45 min away and making the 45 min drive twice in a week would be very inconvenient and expensive for me. They have lost 3 patients over not caring to accommodate. So in conclusion if you want to be seen at this office and two of your family members have an appointment already. Make sure that when you call..... do not to mention that you are related in any way.
