Dr. J.Carlos Mendoza has been in the field of dentistry for over 10 years, including 6 years practicing in Central California. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science (2004) and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from one of Americas most distinguished dental schools, the University of California at Los Angeles (2009). At the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Mendoza received the George F. Baker Scholarship and the prestigious National Health Service Corps Scholarship.
During his second year in the field, Dr. Mendoza became a Continuing Education lecturer for the University of California at Los Angeles and served as an Adjunct Faculty at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. He is now an active member in the following professional organizations: the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the Fresno/Madera Dental Society. Dr. Mendoza volunteers with several prominent local non-profit dental organizations, including but not limited to TeamSmile, where he volunteers to provide dental services to underserved children.
Along with his staff, Dr. Mendoza, is dedicated to educating, treating, and maintaining his patients optimal oral health in a manner consistent with his education at UCLA School of Dentistry, which focused on putting the patient first.

iTooth Dentistry accepts most major dental insurances. We will file claims on behalf of the patient and will provide a cost estimate of the needed treatment ahead of time. All financial discussions are kept confidential.

He was born and raised in Boston, MA. When not assisting at the dental office, his hobbies include playing =basketball with friends, watching action movies and intense video gaming. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend partaking in adventure walks, exploring and learning new things! He claims to have excellent dexterity and perceptual ability for Xbox video games. The holidays are his favorite time of year when he is able to fully enjoy the presence of friends and family.
Jordan grew up in the small town of Sanger, CA., where he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Animals also have a special place in his heart and he adopted his furry friend London back in 2014. One of Jordans hobbies is doing makeup, which is started doing at age 15. He often says that being able to enhance ones inner beauty with makeup is always a rewarding feeling. On his free time, hes usually out with family and friends, enjoying their company.
Debbie grew up in the small town of Chowchilla, CA and has been in the dental field since 1995. She has two grown children, Nicole & David, which whom she is very proud of. Debbie grew up riding horses and participating in many gymkhana events in 4-H and junior rodeos. She has a love for animals, wine tasting, movies, and reading.
She grew up in the small town of Kingsburg. Has always had a passion for helping others and not one who gives up easily. On her free time Karla enjoys spending time with my family and friends, watching movies or playing lotera. She is always looking forward to the winter , due to the holiday festivities when shes able to drink some hot chocolate.
Stephanie was born and raised in Fresno, California. She has been a dental hygienist for over 6 years. She has a gentle nature and loves making people laugh. One of her favorite things as a dental hygienist is educating patients in a fun and positive way and calming and reassuring their dental fears and anxieties. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband of 18 years and her 3 teenage children. Some of her hobbies include trying new things and visiting new places as a family. Last year some of those things included a midnight candle light tour at Winchester Mystery House and horse back riding in Monterey.

I have horrible dental anxiety, due to past experiences, however Dr. Mendoza has always done an amazing job. He is so very professional and knowledgeable. He is gentle and quick! I just had 2 wisdom teeth pulled and didn't even feel it. He treats our entire family. The staff is very caring and accommodating. They make you feel very comfortable.

My first encounter with this office was for a consultation. Jordan who is knowable and kind helped me set up an appointment and sent all the paper work via text. It was very easy to navigate and fill out. I entered the office for the first time and not only was it very clean it smelled pleasant, I was welcomed right away and I didn't sit more than 5mins before I got called in. I was very nervous because I held off getting a crown for one of my front teeth from a root canal that was more than 15 years old. It was starting to leak and darken I was not able to smile anymore. Dr. Mendoza introduced himself and was very polite he examined my teeth and recommended we replace both front teeth with crowns. He even drew a diagram of the crowns and had samples to show me exactly what they look like. I felt comfortable to continue with him and get the work done. They have different financial options and I was able to get a great card credit promotion. My next visit was to shave down the teeth and get a digital mold for the crowns. His staff communicates so well with each other he has a great team working with him. The numbing was gentle and The procedure was quick, under an hour. I left with Temporaries. The crowns arrived soon after. The crowns I received didn't match my teeth quite well. The Dr. reassured me that he would send pictures and notes to the lab to re-create the perfect match. He takes pride in his work and guarantees his patients satisfaction. The next crowns that arrived were a perfect match! I'm so excited to show off my new smile and I'm so happy I came to his office. Thank you to all the staff and Dr. Mendoza. I will continue to recommend his office to all my friends and family.

I'm very pleased with iTooth dentist. I hadn't yet found a new dentist in the area, but one of my wisdom teeth started acting up and got quite painful. I called and they squeezed me in relatively quickly. When I got to my appt, I could see the office was getting busy but you never would have known it by the service provided. Everyone was kindness and smiles, and Dr Mendoza was awesome. He took all the time necessary to discuss my issue, my options, and his recommendation for how to proceed. We handled it on the spot. High marks for this crew, all around!

I had a good relationship with this business and they fully understood that I would be paying the bill for my adult son. However, they performed elective procedures that cost me almost $800 and unfortunately this business performed work without my verbal confirmation. This is very disappointing.

Everyone is really nice and friendly, but the communication was very confusing and a bit frustrating. Not the best communication about what was being done and how much it was going to cost me. I felt like the doctor was trying to rush while explaining it to me. Didn't explain everything either as his assistant did a better job at doing that. Other than that the place is good, and the hygienist was awesome!! She explained everything to me step by step. Wish the doctor did the same. I wanted his professional opinion on what I could do right away and what I had to wait for financially and I felt like he didn't take that into consideration which was disappointing.

2021: Six years later I still give iTooth Dentistry five stars. This dentist loves what he does and it shows. Staff is wonderful and if you are looking for a practice that is not crowded with patients and has a dentist that actually explains what he is doing iTooth Dentistry is for you. 2015: 5 stars for the dentist and his staff for professionalism, a same day appointment, dental proficiency and one of Fresno's best state-of-the-art facilities. Imagine a dental chair that gives you a soothing massage!

They are always ready for their patients and they are super friendly! Some things at the dentist can be awkward or uncomfortable and they make everything very comfortable and easy! I had two wisdom teeth out recently in office and there was little to no pain and it all healed perfectly!

I called Dr. Mendoza on a late Thursday afternoon with an emergency of a cracked back molar- he set me up for an appointment immediately the next morning to place a temporary. After about a weeks wait time for my crown to come in, I would highly recommend Dr. Mendoza and his team. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and professional. I will be brining my family back here. Thanks.
