Dr. Thurman has been in private practice for over twenty years in Colorado. Prior to private practice he was a dentist in the 82nd Airborne for three years. He even jumped out of a perfectly good airplane 25 times with some of our bravest.
The dental office procedures include gold crowns, all white zirconium crowns, and very esthetic e.max crowns. These are all used with bridges and implants as well. We also do a lot of white composite fillings, root canals, bleaching, dental hygiene cleanings, and periodontal scaling and root planing. We see children starting at 3-4 years old. We also see dental emergencies and do oral surgery when needed.
Dr. Thurman has been married to Kathy for over twenty five years and they have two children. Michellie is a biology major at Grinnell College and Luke is a senior and state qualifier in XC and track at Air Academy High School. The Thurmans recently adopted two Great Danes and a Boxer.
Outside the office Dr. Thurman enjoys spending time with his family and triathlon training. He has run the New York City and Boston Marathons along with numerous triathlons including a 70.3 Ironman and USAT age group nationals. He is also an avid reader of history and physics.
