Born to a modest family of six in Alabama, Dr Bui is alert to the needs of families both thriving and facing challenges. Issy Dental is the practice that will allow him to serve his community with all the top notch patient track record and education Dr Bui has spent years building.
Dr Bui has been the lead dentist for multiple practices in the Houston area for the past seven years following several successful years practicing in Massachusetts. He has cared for hundreds of patients with a pristine track record and transformed the lives of dozens of severe case patients.
Dr. Bui has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Biology from University of Montevallo and Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dentistry. With a science background coupled with artistic vision for how much a smile can transform a look and a life, Dr. Bui is in an elite class of less than 1% of dentists in the United States with such training. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Esthetic Skin Institute
Dr. Diane Kim was born in Seoul, Korea. She moved to New York when she was 13 years old. She grew up in New York, and attended Stony Brook University for her undergraduate degree. She then proceeded to earn her Doctorate at NYU College of Dentistry. She holds a conscious sedation certificate with the Academy of Dental and Medical Anesthesia. She is well versed in every facet of general dentistry, especially pediatrics. Looking for a change of scenery, Dr. Kim decided to move to Texas to start fresh. She currently resides in the Houston area.
Dr. Kim Pham is a Houston-area general dentist with extensive training in family, cosmetic, and pediatric dentistry. A native Texan originally from Austin, she was the salutatorian of her high school class and attended the University of Texas at Austin as a National Merit Scholarship recipient. She was an early graduate from college with honors, earning her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry.
Dedicated to pursuing the highest standards in dental care, Dr. Pham continues to train in the latest clinical techniques and implements the most current technology and methods. She is proficient in all aspects of general and pediatric dentistry and basic orthodontics. She maintains additional certifications in moderate enteral sedation, which allow her to provide a comfortable dental experience for anxious patients. This, along with her soft touch and calming bedside manner, makes her one of the best dentists for children or nervous adults.

Most disgusting and most unprofessional office. They leave their equipment dirty and i saw blood on a lot of surfaces and their tools. It was so nasty i walked out. If you want hepatitis come here.

Improper billing for treatment plan. Total crown costs $1117 with included charges of $400 for a temporary crown when insurance code D2799 says should cost $100. Also $282 for a lab fee. Got second opinion cost was half the price. The dentist and tech were just fine but watch out for over billing when using your insurance.

Cool people they just take advantage of you. For example they told me to buy a toothbrush for 50 dollars and also tells me this toothbrush is 100 dollars in other places. Turns out. The toothbrush is 25 dollars everywhere else. Just be careful they will try to run you dry

This place is trash !!!!!! If i could give 0 stars I would , first imma start saying that the office its so dirty as you can see the picture it was the hole office, i went there bc my wisdom teeth were hurting so bad , when they sit me the doctor who was so rude and unprofessional tried to turn on the light that apparently did not work but what gets me mad is that she was touching the light with her gloves on and then tried to look at my mouth with the same gloves , soo gross , after she just told me she couldn't do anything and would refer me to another doctor , but just walked out didnt even ask me how the pain was , the assistant asked her if she would prescribed me any medication for the pain and said : 'well if she needs them " like what the heck ma'am that's the reason of my appointment, i was trying at least to get something for the pain .. but not she didn't do anything....for sure not coming back to this office, i hope they get a health inspector bc they are so dirty !!!!!!!!!!!! I do not recomend this office at all .

The worst dentist ever. I was scheduled to do a regular cleaning and all they did was brush my teeth. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Hands down the best Dentist in H-town. Has Samuri precision with the numbing needle and is as gentle as a spring breeze has she wiggled, tugged, pushed and pulled to get my difficulty tooth out. I don't go the Demtist often but I will now and when I do it will be with Dr. Kim and Issy Dental. Issy the way to go!!

Had a gala on Friday night, somehow chipped my front tooth that morning. They were able get me in and do a temporary fix that evening. Got there at 5 minutes to 6 and they stayed past closing time to fix it for me. I'm sure they were not happy but never showed anything but kindness and professionalism. They took their time and did not rush through it. Did a fantastic job and I really am grateful to them for staying. Couldn't have ben nicer. I will be scheduling with them to get a permanent fix very soon. Promise it won't be near closing time!

It's always a wonderful pleasure to walk into a clean atmosphere with amazing customer service. The Assistant to the DDS is very knowledgeable, caring, and prompt with their work ethics. They accept most insurances. They complete all work in one visit depending on what needs to get done. My kids and I love to visit every 6 mths. I would recommend anyone to visit as needed. Great place for dental work.

I recently got a root canal else where, and went to issy to get a Crown evaluation, had a pleasant exam, very nice office and did not have to wait long. I was told I needed clearance from the dentist that did my root canal to go forward with the crown procedure. I did go back to my other dentist at which time they emial over to issy a statement that refected I could go forward with my crown. I waited a week and no one call me back. So I call the issy office and spoke to a gentleman, he said he was owner. I proceeded to tell him my story and how no one had called me back to make the appointment for my crown. He said he had my file on the computer and he could see the notes on my chart. He was nice and said someone would call me back. NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED ME BACK TO THIS DATE. I have Devoted dental plan. I'm very disappointed how they dropped the ball on communicating back with me. No very perfessional. I dont understand why they never followed up on my case.

I love the staff at Issy Dental but the communication sucks when it relates to insurance. Our normal dentist is in-network with our insurance and i was told earlier on by the staff that the office it self was also in-network. Come to find out after being billed out-of-network, for seeing one their other providers, i learned this wasn't the case. It would have been nice knowing going forward that we was going to be billed out of network, for services rendered in an emergency situation, so that when the EOB arrives it wasn't a huge surprise. My child needs an additional procedure, but because we were build out-of-network all of his benefits for the year have been exhausted. Needless to say this is very frustrating.

I'm not one that hates going to the dentist but I do procrastinate and put off making this appointment. So it had been a while since I had been. Luckily this did not translate into me needing major work. What I did need was done all in my first visit. They were able to complete my cleaning and everything with minimal effort and maximum efficiency. I absolutely cannot recommend Issy enough!!

Pretty professional place, great service. Everyone was kind and gentle; even got their names and everything. So thank you Pamela, Miranda, Mandy, and Dr. Lin for the great experience. Definitely looking forward to my next visit, and definitely getting the same hygienist if I can (Pamela)! Edit: Pamela and Dr. Lin are no longer there. The office isn't the same. Don't really like the new dentist. Will not be returning.
