Dr. Diana Wu, DDS is a family dentist offering a wide range of dental service at her independent and full-service dental office in Issaquah, Washington. Her dental philosophy is primarily focused on providing the best possible dentistry while keeping patients fully informed about their oral health and the treatments they receive.
Dr. Wu studied dental medicine at Cebu Doctors University and then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction from Indiana University. In recognition of her academic excellence, Dr. Wu was inducted into the Theta Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in 2012.
Dr. Fengchun Miao, DDS was born and grew up in Qingdao, China, and she speaks Mandarin fluently. She received her bachelors degree in nutritional sciences at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and then graduated from University of California Los Angeles with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Due to the excellent performance at school, she was honored with Summa Cum Laude upon graduation from UCLA dental school. She was also inducted into the Theta Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society at the same time. She is constantly learning and improving herself to achieve excellence in dentistry.
I recently went to my first check up at Issaquah Premier Dental. Dr. Diana Wu and her staff made me feel very welcomed and comfortable during the visit. They made thorough diagnostics taking pictures, x-rays, and teeth exam. Then Dr. Wu took time to go through the treatment plan and answer all my questions.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Miao, Liz and Kelly. They are professional and good at what they are doing. They cared about what I feel and tried to be very gentle during the exam and cleaning process. The office is clean and nice. I would recommend them to other patients.

Dr. Wu has been my dentist since 2019. There are not enough laudatory words I could use to express what a great doctor she is. She is highly competent, professional, transparent, involved, informed, caring, and I never feel pushed towards a treatment or rushed. Dr. Wu's team is equally stellar and I feel literally grateful that I found them. Any part of the healthcare journey can feel vulnerable and having a team you can trust makes all the difference.

I've been to IPD twice, and I'm satisfied all the time. Everyone is so kind and nice, and absolutely professional. For the first time, I arrived the office a bit late for a few minutes because I couldn't find where it is. But it didn't affect my appointment at all. No one complains about my lateness and I was called as soon as I checked in. Also as a new patient, they called me two days before my first appointment to do an introduction and confirm insurance. They have an online system to do the new patient questionnaires, which saves a lot of time. The second appointment was for cleaning, and it was a great experience as well. I really enjoyed my stay here and would like not to recommend to my friends, because the only draw back is it's so hard to get an appointment spot!

Great experience at this dental office! Office staff are friendly and professional, and Dr. Miao was extremely thorough in talking through recommendations based on the results of my first exam. The office was convenient and comfortable, and techniques used by both the hygienist and doctor were gentle and noninvasive. Dr. Wu and her staff are extremely professional and pleasant. They have all the latest technology and are extremely thorough and came up with an excellent treatment plan for my situation during the first visit. In addition they spell out for you in detail both the treatment plan and the costs involved and work seamlessly with your insurance coverage so as to minimize out of pocket costs. I am very happy to have found IPD and look forward to improving my dental health with them going forward.

Came here for my dental cleaning as new patient. Check in was smooth and the receptionist was nice. From their beautiful, well-maintained modern facility, to every single employee I came into contact with, this place is by far the best dental care I have received! Dr. Wu and her hygienist have been very thorough and exceptionally good. They did everything possible to make sure I was feeling comfortable during my visit. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality dental care.

So I've had a long history of bad previous experiences with dentists in my past - it seemed they were all too often either not very good, or unbelievably expensive, or both. Hence my teeth got into a pretty bad state as I hadn't seen a dentist for a while. My wife found Issaquah Premier Dental and all the good reviews they had. From the very first experience they clearly were a different kind of dentist than I was used to. Their thoroughness and attention to detail is something else. And Dr. Wu is so patient and kind and makes sure that you have as good an experience as possible no matter what sort of procedure you are having. The assistants are also super friendly and put you at ease with their easy going humor. I'm very impressed with them. Understandably they are very busy so you have to book ahead, but it is worth it. Highly recommended.

Updating my review: I appreciate that Dr Wu offered a solution to accommodate the billing misunderstanding we had. We were able to solve the issue. ----------- They offered a great quality service, but if your health insurance will be paying part of the treatments I advise you to request a pre-determined cost upfront.
