Dr. Zent is a proud Washington native who grew up in Chelan, working with his parents in the family's bakery. Dr. Zent pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Las Vegas in Nevada. He then obtained his Doctorate Degree from the University of Washington's DentalProgram in 1999. Dr. Zent also belongs to several local study clubs as well as being a member of the King Co. Dental Society, Washington State Dental Assoc. and prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Jeff enjoys working with adults and children alike, providing quality dentistry and helping people smile with confidence! Dr. Zent has worked extensively in his community to offer services to less fortunate individuals as a board member of the International Smile Power organization as well as supporting several local charities.
Our goal is to educate our patients and to help them achieve and maintain excellent oral health whileproviding the best dental experience possible. We aim to provide a great customer experience in a fun and professional working environment.
She and her husband of 30+ years have four amazing sons. When she is not at the office she enjoys watching the kids sports games. She also loves spending time with family and friends, live music, cooking and baking.
Teresa, and her husband David of 33+ years, relocated to Sammamish, Washington in 1995. They both fell in love with the area; the beautiful trees, mountains, hills, trails, and lakes. They have an amazing adult daughter, Michelle, who lives in Kent, Washington.
Their other child is a fur baby, a miniature apricot poodle that lives at home with them. Her name is Hannah and she enjoys going for walks. Hannah gets her teeth brushed every day and a dental cleaning every 3 months. With Teresa's gentle touch, Hannah tolerates her cleanings well, and of course after every brushing and cleaning she always gets a healthy treat. (Usually carrots)
Teresa enjoys traveling, bicycling, boating, and walking her dog along the beautiful Lake Sammamish trail. She also enjoys meeting up with family and friends, staying home with her husband, and relaxing and watching old concerts on the big screen.
Teresa is a certified dental assistantsince 2000. She graduated from Renton Technical College. Teresa enjoys taking continuing education classes to keep up to date on newandchanging dental techniques.
Teresa grew up in the beautiful Pacific North-West (Maple Valley)and lives with her fiancee Mark, in Hobart. She has two wonderful sons, Christopher who lives in Texas and Cory who lives locally along with his little girl, her beautiful grand-daughter Sophia. On her days off she love to spend as much time with her grand-daughter as possible.
Teresa also enjoys snowmobiling,traveling andcamping with friends, cooking with her sweetheart ~ watch out food network :) She loves sitting on her back deck watching the wildlife that may walk through.One can neverhave enough time with family.
Lauren assists the dental office with document shredding. She graduated from Skyline High School and the Academy for Community Transition in the Issaquah school district. She enjoys contributing her time and hard work to our office and we love having her as part of our team!
In addition to being an avid Seattle Thunderbirds hockey fan, Lauren loves animals, watching home videos and paging through photo albums with her family. Lauren also has fun listening to dance music, and riding her three-wheeler around the neighborhood!.

Dr. Zent takes time to explain the benefits of good hygiene in enough memorable detail to retain. He and his staff are welcoming and personable. My daughter and I love Issaquah Family Dental!

I have been going here for years. They are fantastic. I would recommend Issaquah Family Dental to anybody who is looking for a top notch dentist. Staff is friendly and they are fantastic with the reminders. I love how they call me to remind me when I am due for my cleaning, check up etc.

So grateful a co-worker referred me to Dr. Zent! I had been going to another Issaquah dentist for a couple of years and ended up with a mouth full of trouble. Dr. Zent was able to fix some ill-shaped fillings, re-seat a crown, and modify an expensive night guard I couldn't wear without pain. I appreciate his honest and conservative approach as well as his gentle and caring "chair-side" manner. I'll be moving my teens here as well now that they're ready to move on from their pediatric dentist. I can't say enough about Dr. Zent and his team - they're all wonderful to work with!

Dr Zent was recommended by my regular dentist for an Invisilign assessment. Dr Zent and his staff were #1 Covid safe, efficient, respectful, kind and friendly. Dr Zent answered all my questions and more from his wide knowlege base. I highly recommend Dr. Zent's practice.

I have been having consistently bad experiences with the assistant and finally decided to give them a negative review today. I got the whitening product that has well passed the expiration date by eight months and was trying to exchange them. The assistant lectured me that the product work fine even they are expired. While I was explaining that I prefer a product that is not expired, she said " I'm not trying to put you on defense here" as if I am arguing with her. After she lectured me for a couple of rounds, I insisted to have an exchange for the same product that is not expired. She then gave me a different product that has no expiration date nor instruction paper. The package is damaged a little bit already and doesn't look new. I let her know that I prefer to have a legitimate product if they are going to be in my mouth and I prefer a refund at this point. She rolled her eyes on me and turned away without saying anything. Although I'm not white nor native to the states, I have lived here for many years. I'm confident to say that this type of obvious discrimination and unprofessional service are very rare to find in the Seattle area. I would also like to mention that the assistant took more than an hour to get my digital scan. The process was not pleasant due to her constantly catching the skin in my mouth between the device and my teeth with force. When she was operating the device, she seems not very familiar with the system yet. Last but not least, they also never reply to my emails when I try to ask a question. edit: I found it troubling that they never apologize for their assistant's nasty attitude towards me. Personally, I'm not sure that having some of the employees with multi-racial family warrant a bias-free professional environment for the clients. For instance, I had trouble communicating with my assistant since the beginning. I had to bring my husband with me to avoid awkward situation. He let me know that he would always accompany me for my visit after being there with me for the first time. Furthermore, during our entire communication after my complain they never brought it up other then here. In fact, they suggest me to remove my review. I would also mention here that I later found out the whitening products they sold me for $60 for 2 actually cost $24 for 3 on Amazon ( hopefully that's not the case anymore) In addition, they closed their office earlier this year without leaving a way for further communication for patients who didn't set up an appointment before they closing the office. As a result, I had the hooks on my teeth with me for extra 6 months. I wish they had followed up with me or let me know how to reach them before closing the office or after opening the office again. With all said above, I need to emphasize that Dr Zent is indeed an exceptional doctor. His skill is great and is very knowledgeable and kind. However, due to my trouble with my assistant, unfortunately I can not recommend this place to other people. I hope they would keep improving
