Dr. Chad Merkel completed his undergraduate studies atWestern Washington University, then enrolled at theUniversity of Washingtonto study dentistry. In the years since graduating, hes had the pleasure of helping patients achieve greater health and confidence through exceptional care. Hes also received advanced training in creation and placement of one-visit CEREC crowns.
Dr. Justin Hansen is a Seattle area native and earned a degree in business administration from the University of Washington, with an emphasis on information systems. He followed a family tradition by serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy before entering dental school at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
Justin continues to take extensive advanced training in order to refine his dental skills and serve his patients. He takes pride in performing the very best care available and the use of the most modern techniques. Justin enjoys taking time to talk with and educate patients about their dental health.

Trevi has been with Issaquah Dental Arts for many years! Her passion for overall health and well-being shows in her caring attitude. Her expertise lies in providing you with the most thorough and gentle visit youve ever experienced. Trevi obtained her education through Pierce College and completed her B.S. atthe University of Washington. She is a member of the Washington State Dental Hygienists Associationand the American Dental HygienistsAssociationand has been a dental hygienist for more than a decade.
Erika started working with us in 2013 as a sterilization tech. She attended Clark College and graduated with highest honors and a bachelors degree in applied science of dental hygiene. She enjoys spending time with people: helping each improve their oral health with thorough cleanings and patient education.
Chelsia graduated from the Clover Park Technical College dental assisting program in 2013. She loves to help patients gain confidence through their smile, and enjoys the opportunity to help comfort patients who may experience anxiety with dental visits. She has been cross-trained for the front office, which enables her to help coordinate treatment and discuss insurance coverage when she is not assisting the doctor.
Away from the office, Chelsia enjoys spending time with her other half and family. She loves to explore the Pacific Northwest by camping, and when the weather isnt as nice, you will find her at home playing card games or being crafty.
In addition to our focus on your needs, our Issaquah dental office is a leader in the cosmetic and general dentistry field. We love nothing more than to showour patients how cosmetic dentistry is able to benefit them and discussall the different treatment options we have available.

Dr. Justin and staff are awesome! Made an appt for a ceramic repair the week before, and on appt day I was in and out in 38 minutes with full repair. Highly recommend!!

After 6 months of pure misery due to a misaligned crown (too tall), I was referee to dental arts issaquah for this issue. The dentist, and staff were incredibly kind, and knowledgeable!

Great experience getting a crown in one day. Broke a tooth on vacation last week and they fit me in. Love this dental practice and recommend to everyone!

Woke up with a throbbing gum pain and got in by 10 am. Nothing specific found but cleaned area and applied treatment. Took ibuprofen. Pain and inflammation mostly gone by 2:30. Awesome.

Dr. Hansen and his team are always very thorough and thoughtful with the examination, discussion and always there to answer as many questions. I had a very positive experience and the problem I had hasn't resurfaced. Highly recommend Issaquah Dental Arts.

Amazing Office! I have had a tooth ache for a couple of days and I awoke with additional discomfort. I sent a text at 6:30 a.m. and immediately received a text to come to the office at 7:00 a.m. I left the office feeling like an honest evaluation with no attempt to upsell me on unneeded services.

New to Issaquah Dental Arts as of July 2021. Attracted to Dr. Justin Hansen and his family's tradition of military experience. Those disciplines seem to have carried over to the efficient and warm reception of he and his staff. He takes the time to thoroughly explain various procedures. His expertise was manifest in my buildup and crown recently completed. His care much appreciated by this somewhat "long in the tooth" ex grunt.

Issaquah Dental Arts is amazing. The entire team is patient and thoughtful in every way. I have areas of dental concern with sensitivity, thin enamel and root exposure that make going to the dentist challenging but they are always so wonderful and kind. They also see my kiddos and are equally great with them.
