Dr. Hayes earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree at the Medical University of South Carolina here in Charleston, SC in 2014. He began his dental career after school as a Captain in the US Army at Fort Bliss, TX. Dr. Hayes has placed himself in the top 6% of dentist by earning the prestigious award as a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry. He has also served in 3 mission trips out of the country including 2 mission trips providing dental care in underserved communities in Ecuador and Jamaica. Dr. Hayes combines his caring nature with his love for dentistry to give a comforting experience. He lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, two children and dog. He is very excited to be a part of this community and making a positive impact for years to come.
Dr. Hayes has a busy life outside of the dental profession. He spends most of his spare time hanging out with his wife, two children and dog. They like to try out new activities and spots around town. Dr. Hayes also has a desire for living a healthy balanced life. His hobbies include fitness, carpentry, snowboarding and video games.
Anne became part of our team in 2015, and we are so glad to have her! She enjoys working at our office because she is able to be a part of the family atmosphere, and she also loves our patients. Anne loves getting to know our patients and making sure they leave with a smile.
Originally from Seattle, Anne moved to South Carolina five years ago and loves to call the Lowcountry her home! She has been happily married for 22 years, and she is a proud mom of three beautiful children and one very special grandson.

I had a great experience for my cleaning. My appt started right on time, Lisa my hygienist was great, Dr Hayes came in promptly to review and Anne at the front desk is always helpful and nice.

When I first came to town in March 2022 I shopped around for a dentist calling nearly every office in Mt. Pleasant. From the moment Nyah answered the phone, I knew I would be booking at iSmile. She was pleasant, informative and sounded happy. It means a lot to me when the staff sounds like they like their job. She sold me! My first appointment was with Ellie who did a deep cleaning of my teeth and told me things about dental health that I never knew before. She was extremely knowledgable and loved telling me all about what she was doing. I was fascinated with how much I learned from her. As is usual with me, I had to get some work done. Kerri Ann was assisting Dr. Hayes and was so patient with me. When she sensed me tensing up, she would place her hand on me to help keep me calm. We were so comfortable conversing I was ready to go out and have a drink with her after work! Dr. Hayes sings while he works. How cool is that?! As a vocal coach, I thought it was great. And yes, he has a really nice voice. He was so gentle and clearly keeps up to date with all the new procedures. I am 63 and I can honestly say he is the best dentist I have ever had. My last cleaning was with Meaghan and I'm still trying to figure out what H3O is all about. I'll have to research that. Of course I can't forget Anne, the patient coordinator. It's no easy task to reschedule patients and she never made me feel like it was a problem. Not only is this a great office with an amazing staff, I'm honestly sad to leave them because I'm moving to another state. I was ready to ask if I could join in on their next office party!
