Dr. Francis Lugo is a Tampa native, who received her undergraduate degree in Biology from University of South Florida. Later went on to continue her education and complete her DDS from New York University College of Dentistry. At NYU she obtained comprehensive training in all areas of dentistry from restorative, cosmetic, and prosthodontics. During her career at NYU she participated in the Program for Survivors of Torture, which partnered with Bellevue Hospital, providing free dentistry to refugees who had fled their countries. She currently enjoys spending time with her two children, going to the beach and traveling.
Dr. Salwan (Sal) Louis is originally from Baghdad, Iraq. After completing his DDS in Iraq and due to the unfortunate situation he immigrated to San Diego, California. Having passed the necessary boards, he was accepted and completed the Advanced Placement program at New York University College of Dentistry. Here at NYU he further sharpened his dentistry, academically and clinically. He also was selected to participate the Program for Survivors of Torture, which partnered with Bellevue Hospital, providing free dentistry to refugees who had fled their countries. Dr Louis enjoys, jogging with his dogs, spending time with his children and traveling.

Can't speak to any dental work per say cause I have not have any issues:) The front desk is verry friendly and Jorge is a supper awesome technition. Best I have ever had.

This my first visit to iSmile & I am happy to say it was a excellent. I saw Dr. Lugo & she is very nice & professional. She explains everything to you with a treatment plan. Her staff is very helpful & professional as well. I definitely recommend this practice to whomever is looking for dental care.

Dr. Louis and his staff are great. Everyone was very professional and informative. Dental work makes me nervous but the staff put me at ease. Due to their excellent service myself, my daughter and my sister will be repeat patients.

Office was able to take me in quickly after calling in about a cracked tooth. Dr. Luis and staff were kind and thorough, taking their time to explain my dental plan, payment and answer any additional questions I had. Look forward to continuing to work with them.

I've been going to ISmile for 2 years and I always have a nice experience. The office staff, Honey and Natashia are warm, friendly, and helpful. The hygienist, Jorge, does such a great job. He is gentle, thorough, and is a very skilled technician. I've been going to dentists for over 50 years and I rank Dr.'s Lugo and Luis #1. They are professional, friendly, and also very gentle. They take time to explain procedures and to answer questions. They are always on time and I cannot thank them enough for their exceptional care.

I generally I hate going to the dentist, but Gorge made it pleasurable. He took his time and meticulously cleaned my teeth. He also gave me tips on cleaning and maintaining good dental health.
