Dr. Tran was born in Vietnam, the 9th child out of 10 and came to America when he was just 14 years old. Attending college and entering the US Navy, Dr. Tran was an engineer until he made the decision to start his dentistry career. Coming from a family of doctors, dentists and pharmacists, Dr. Tran was inspired by the ability to help others and has been in practice for years. Besides dentistry, Dr. Tran has a passion for his family and deep sea fishing. He has caught many fish from Marlin to salmon out on the open ocean.

Woah! What an awesome experience! From the super friendly reception to the down to earth and very professional medical team. I felt welcome and cared for my entire time. The lobby was warm and comfortable and the procedure room was clean and orderly. A true 5/5 star experience!

Dr Tran has literally saved my life and smile!! My teeth were failing, crumbling and my enamel was so soft I had cavities in every tooth, I've had terrible experiences at other dentists and was so afraid, until I met Dr Tran and his team!! I had immediate dentures placed on top of mouth, and then am currently doing a partial on my bottoms.. They made me able to smile again without feeling self conscious, ALL of my visits were painless and so easy and he is so fast at the procedures!! They were available anytime to F/U with any concerns I might have had!! I can't thank Dr Tran and the receptionist Laura for helping me, they literally saved my life when I felt like there was no options left for me, and they look so natural!! Incredible provider and team!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! And they're so flexible with scheduling too!! AAAAAAAA++++++

I have had a few appointments now and I gotta tell you.... This place is fantastic. I have a serious dentist phobia but they made me feel comfortable and at ease immediately. Laura is a fabulous receptionist and a total asset to the office. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone hesitant about going to the dentist. Fantastic customer care from Dr Tran and the entire office.

Honestly I could not believe this dentist. I went there once and did not return. He literally was chuckling the whole time because of how much work I need done. I shouldn't have to explain myself and why. I already feel ashamed because of my teeth and I'm obviously there for a reason. This is something I have to live with and don't need anyone to make me feel any worse then I already do. At one point I had to say "Ok I get it, I know it's a lot of work"

Anybody who tells you that looks aren't everything in life was right, they're only like 90% of everything in life. That being said our chompers are on the front lines of these adventures. I've been to iSmile a hastily two times and so far it's a 5 out of 5, I would actually stress the 5 as they were pretty understanding about late,issues appointment etc.... anyway, it's everything I would want out of a role so important. I am currently on trillium ohp and my general exam and cleaning are paid for. I would recommend for someone on same plan. I intend to have aesthetic work done though as well.

Over my lifetime I have been to many dentists. I found Doctor Tran to be very personable & extremely talented/competent. I have gone to him for many years & would never change to another dentist..

I was going to go on and talk about all my bad experiences with Dentist in the past for comparison. But, I'm not gonna do that. I just have to say this was the best experience I ever had at a dentist visit. I didn't have to wait long. Dr. Ty D. Tran was so friendly and funny. He was gentle and seemed very thorough with my cleaning.. The staff is amazing and very pleasant to talk to. The office was very clean and nicely decorated. I felt very comfortable and at ease there. I would highly recommend I Smile Dental with Dr. Tu D. Tran on Murray blvd in Beaverton.
