As a dentist, my goal has always been to build a long-term relationship between my office and our patients. Dentistry has allowed me, as a healthcare provider and partner, to grow with my patients through the years, and share their fears, joys, and successes. We are fortunate to have a diverse patient base with unique personalities. I enjoy them all.

Our office is small by design. We want to create a comfortable and personal experience for each patient. I want patients to feel like they are coming home every time they walk through our door, as theyre greeted with warm smiles.

I always have my patients best interests at heart. Dentistry is my way of contributing to my community; I take my professional responsibilities seriously. I have a calm and gentle approach, which I have been told, by many patients, is why they travel to see me.

My ultimate joy is when a patents smile and life has been transformed through our work, together. The smile at the end of any treatment, be it a cleaning, filling, or full-mouth rehabilitation, means the world to me.

Our office is a proud supporter of the Mona Foundation. This is an organization that supportsgrass roots initiatives in education of children in underserved areas of the world. Through our partnership thousands of children have found their way to schools and colleges through accessand scholarships. Mona Foundation also supports the empowerment of girls and women through these efforts.

My Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) was awarded by the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I graduated in 1991 and went into a full-time practice, while also teaching as an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan. From 1995 to 1998 I was an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota, again while in a full-time practice. Since 1998 I have been the sole owner and dentist at Isles Dental.

Im passionate about continuing education and take as many hours as I can, in all disciplines of dentistry. I study through the University of Minnesota and travel throughout the country to learn from the leaders and innovators in my profession. A lot of my courses have focused on Sleep Disorders / Sleep Apnea and Mandibular Advancement Appliances.

I grew up in the Ypsilanti / Ann Arbor area of Michigan. Now Im in southwest Minneapolis, where Ive lived since 1995. I am married and have a son and daughter who graduated from Southwest High School in our community. They are both in college at the University of Minnesota and still enjoy soccer and theater. We also have a small dog, Ritz, who brings much joy and laughter to our family.

When not in the office, youll find me being a soccer mom, cheering on my kids and their teammates. I also follow and support the local theater groups my son is involved with. I love to cook and have family around me.

After high school, I went to the University of Minnesota-Duluth where I studied pre-dentistry course work and played football for the Bulldogs. I went on to attend the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis and graduated with academic distinction in 1996.

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed staying active with dental continuing education, in person and online. I hold myself to the highest standard in my practice of dentistry and have been lucky to work with outstanding dental specialists in the area.

I truly love getting to know my patients as individuals and watching their families grow. These relationships are what make my days fun and keep my passion for this profession strong. I strive to make everyone feel comfortable in a place where many people feel uncomfortable. I started working with Dr. Sepi as a Dental Assistant in 1996. In 2001 I completed my Dental Hygiene degree and returned to Isles Dental. I intend to stay here until I retire.

My role at Isles Dental is multi-faceted. I am the Lead Dental Hygienist in the practice, and I also support my other team members when needed. Were all willing to pitch in to keep everything running smoothly for our patients. As a hygienist, I focus on helping people develop and keep a healthy mouth and smile. While Im cleaning their teeth, we talk about their home hygiene routine and figure out changes they can make that will keep their smile looking great.

I joined Isles Dental in August 2017, and have over 30 years of experience in dental offices. I was fascinated with the dental field after my experience with orthodontics and braces as a teenager. In college, I started with an accounting degree, then became a dental assistant. A few short years later, after starting a family, I combined my background and pursued my career of dental office administrator. I have experience in many office settings, but a small private practice is my favorite because I get to know and build relationships with my team and with our patients.

Family is important to me. I love working at Isles Dental because it feels like a family. Everyone on our team is willing to be helpful and offer support in any way they can. I consider our patients part of our team, and I love getting to know them and their families. When I am out of the office, I spend as much time as I can outdoors. I like to relax and read, and I enjoy sharing time with my husband and our own family.

I graduated as a dental assistant in August of 2017 and started working at Isles Dental in July of 2019. I wanted to be in a career that involved helping other people. I had a lot of dental work done growing up and it made me realize how important it is to educate others about oral hygiene.

As a dental assistant I prepare the treatment rooms, instruments and materials for the procedures. I help maintain a comforting, safe and clean environment for everyone. My favorite part about dental assisting is the range of responsibilities I have with all the various procedures. Everyday is different!
