Dr. Efraim Zak attended the New York University College of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He spent additional time and training at NYU to complete his orthodontic residency and become a specialist in orthodontics. He brings with him an extensive background in research, including many awards and publications.
Dr. Zak attends yearly seminars and study groups to keep up on all advanced orthodontic techniques. He has also lectured at dental study clubs on Align Technology's behalf, the producer of Invisalign. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the OKU dental honor fraternity.
Dr. Zak grew up in New York City and now resides in Long Island. He and his wife, Susan, have to amazing children, Justin and Chelsea, who keep him very busy. When he has the time, Dr. Zak enjoys playing golf, skiing, biking, working out, and going to movies. He is involved with his childrens PTA and supports the Shriners Hospital for Children and research for scleroderma, ALS, multiple sclerosis, cancer, and many others.
I honestly can't see myself doing anything else than being an orthodontist. I love the smiles on the kids and their parents when they get their braces off. That confident smile gives them the start on a happy successful life, and I'm happy to have been a part in giving them this push into their futures. Dr. Friedman
Dr. Scott Friedman received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and orthodontic training from New York University College of Dentistry. He has 33 years of clinical experience and a vast background in all phases of orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Friedman strives to be above and beyond in his knowledge of the latest orthodontic appliances and treatments. He consistently attends lectures around the country and brings this state-of-the-art knowledge with him to provide the best treatment for our patients.
Dr. Randy Weinstein is a graduate of Lehigh University. There, he attained a major in biology and minored in computer science. Dr. Weinstein went on to attend New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, earning the Honors Orthodontics Award from the American Association of Orthodontists.
After completing a General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, Dr. Weinstein returned to New York City for his post-doctorate at NYU Orthodontics. There, he was a clinical instructor in radiology and Invisalign, and helped develop and evaluate a competency-based course in pre-doctoral orthodontics. Dr. Weinstein has lectured at dental study clubs.
Aside from lecturing to dental students and post-graduate residents, Dr. Weinstein is board certified, a published author and certified in Invisalign and LingualCare. He is an orthodontist with an Associate Fellowship through the World Clinical Laser Institute, Standard Proficiency Certification through the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, New York State Dental Association, as well as the Suffolk County Dental Society. He is Top 1%Diamond PlusProvider.
Dr. Joshua Rothenberg graduated from Binghamton University. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and orthodontic training from New York University. Dr. Rothenberg is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Rothenberg is dedicated to maintaining a reputation of excellence in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics and stays current in all the latest techniques. He has lectured on orthodontics and Invisalign. Dr. Rothenberg will also soon be joining the staff at Mather-St Charles Hospital, in the dental department.

Everyone was super nice, including the receptionist and the doctor. I felt more comfortable with this visit than any other orthodontist consult. My son felt comfortable too

From the moment that my children and I walked into this busy office, we had a pleasant, professional experience. It is always a good sign when a waiting room is busy! From the front desk coordinator (Beth), to the orthodontic assistant, to the wonderful orthodontist (Dr. Princey R.) ....all went smoothly and efficiently! The kids and I really liked the relaxed and pleasant manner in which the doctor consulted with us and who answered our questions patiently and with a smile. When we left the office, we already had our follow-up appointments and game plan in place. It was overall a terrific visit. We are now 6 months into the braces process and this office has handled it wonderfully

So far my daughters treatment is okay but the lady at the front desk is a lot to handle. Honestly not looking forward to dealing with her for the next 2 years.

My 17 year old son needs Braces so i took an appointment for my through ZOCDOC and specifically mentioned regarding Insurance on ZOCDOC APP as well as over phone. I took him on appointment day after checking my son information desk informed me that they don't take this insurance. Guys these are scammers

Nice place Staff are nice and extremely friendly. The doctor is also nice and very friendly . Never had any problems with Beth and their were never any issues with things like insurance and appointments . Highly recommend

Not pleasant. The manager, Beth was extremely derogatory when she implied that I may not be able to keep a job for more than 2 years when planning my daughters dental application. I had to asked her if I'm the only patient she'd asked today if I can maintain employment for at least 2 years. My informing her of 27 years of ten tenured employ seem enigmatic. She seemed so condescending when she adamantly warned us away from choosing Invisalign over traditional braces as if we were children with no elementary understanding of why Invisalign would be lost our 12 year old. And also, we felt the hand sanitizer that was placed on the client's edge of the desk was for us until she awkwardly moved it out of our reach when we helped ourselves to a squirt. She could use some training in ethnic tolerance, and sensitivity training.

The front desk staff that make the appointments are horrible and rude I made appointment before I leave the last time when I call to make sure when was the appointment becuase I usually receive a call or text nothing .I call the office the the lady that work in the front desk was very rude I think she messed up with the appointments . The Dentists and the dentist assistance are excellent , but they need new office manager they are unprofessional and never organized with appointments.

Hello fellow patients I love this place. I was recommended to this "chain" of island orthodontics by my godsister. I had spacers, a palate expander, class III mask, and now braces and rubber bands. I just got my braces on and the service was quick and professional. Didn't hurt, but maybe that's just me. The orthodontist and his assistants are super nice and they chat with you, and most importantly, treat you like a human. 10/10 would voluntarily get more done.
