Dr. Lance D. Keyes grew up inOak Harbor and isso happy to be back in his home town! After attending Oak Harbor High School, he pursued a Bachelors Degree in Neuroscience from BYU, his dental degree from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, a one-year internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and a four-year residency at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. He loves hiking, camping, biking, and most of all spending time with his wife Melissa and their five kids.
Jessica was born in Montgomery, Alabama and is 29 years old. She recently moved to Oak Harbor with her husband and their two year old daughter, McKenzie, with the US Navy. She graduated from the Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama with a Bachelors Degree in Science of Computer Information Systems (CIS). She enjoys shopping, meeting new people, hanging out with family, traveling, and watching movies.
Kristen moved to Whidbey Island from Japan with her family after her father retired from the US Navy. She graduated with honors from Bellingham Technical College and has an Associates Degree in Applied Science for Dental Assisting. Kristen is fluent in Japanese, and in her spare time enjoys playing guitar and reading books. She has completed additional anesthesia training and has passed the Dental Anesthesia Assisting National Certification Examination.
Mykel is from Washington and is currently engaged to her fiance who is in the US Navy. She is studying to become an RN and she has completed additional anesthesia training. She has also passed the Dental Anesthesia Assisting National Certification Examination.
Richeil was born and raised in Oak Harbor. She is an Oak Harbor High School graduate and a Skagit Valley College graduate. She is a certified personal trainer and loves to exercise. Richeil enjoys spending time with her dog and trying new foods.
Sarah is from Southern California and moved to Whidbey Island with her husband when he got stationed here with the US Navy. She enjoys fishing and camping with her husband and their border collie mix named Django. She has completed additional anesthesia training and has passed the Dental Anesthesia Assisting National Certification Examination.

Dr Keyes and his staff are not only caring and very attentive but always respectful and professional. I am so very thankful for each and every one of them. Dr. Keyes has a great bedside manner and really cares about his patient. He is very knowledgeable and treats the root of your problem.

Doc Keyes, Nikki, and Brittany were an extreme help for my wife. They did an extraction and provided a great plan for the next future steps. Very nice and very personable. Recommend anyone who needs any oral surgery! Thank you guys for being amazing!

I was getting my wisdom teeth taking out and was a bit nervous. However during the process, the staff showed a boundless amount of hospitality and professionalism throughout the entire thing, and before I knew it, I was in and out just like that! Would definitely come back! 10/10

I just found out they have breast cancer and I just found out they have breast cancer andI have had tooth problems with this tooth forever! I just want thru double mastectomy and lymph node removal. Chemo begins in April. When you heard my story , how I'm here on the island to take care of my dad and then found out they got cancer and now I need to get this done before chemo starts, You treated me so good and squeezed me in right away! I can't explain why I kept seeing a precious stone topped castle while there but I woke up and felt like a million dollar heiress. I feel you saved my life taking out this bad tooth and there wasn't any pain!!!! Thank you for your deliverance!!! Your oral surgeon is a king with a kind heart. God bless you all.

I can not say better things about Dr Keyes and his staff. I had visited multiple places, desperate to get my wisdom tooth removed. Everyone said they were booked months out. I was in constant unbearable pain. I called Dr Keyes and he got me in for a emergency visit the next morning. So much compassion, seriously a life saver.

To be quite honest I was very scared to be getting the work done. I had 18 teeth removed it was not a very exciting time but to my surprise this has been the best dental visit I have ever gone to. Very excellent staff and the surgeon us absolutely great. I didn't even know when I was put under and when I woke up from what I remember I was being walked out the exit door to my wife's car. This visit definately eased my up for future visits.

I went to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed and another molar that was badly chipped, and they set me up with an appointment very quick, and when the procedure came, they were very nice and informative about what they were doing. When it was all done I hadn't even realized I'd gone under, and everything went very smooth thanks to their very helpful and skilled staff.

Dr. Keyes and his staff provide excellent professional care. They have a keen ability to put patients at ease, taking time to explain treatment options and surgical procedures fully. The surgical team is outstanding and the clerical staff always friendly and happy to assist their patients. After two surgeries in this office, I can truly say that the level of care provided to me has been unparalleled. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Thank you.

i've had a few procedures done here, most notably my wisdom teeth. although i was very nervous, everything went super smoothly and it was honestly a great experience! everyone was so nice from the front desk to the back staff and doctor. id spend every day here if i could!
