Dr. Scales is a resident of Eagle Harbor and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fleming Island. He is a third generation dentist, and honors his late father, Kenneth Scales. Dr. Scales and his wife Jeanine have a daughter, Kathleen who is currently in college.

Dr. Scales attended Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio for undergraduate studies. After four years he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree. He then pursued a Dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina Dental College in Charleston.

Upon graduation from dental school in 1990, Dr. Scales returned to Orange Park and began practicing dentistry with his father in Jacksonville. For the last 20 years he has had a private practice here in Fleming Island. Dr. Scales is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Northeast Dental Association, Clay County Dental Society, and Jacksonville Dental Society.

Dr. Scales has been a member of the Clay County Chamber since 1997. In 2000, he was the first President of the Clay County Chambers Southeast Council representing the areas of Fleming Island, Green Cove Springs, and Middleburg.

Dr. Victor Erminy was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and attended the School of Dentistry at the University Santa Maria where he received his doctorate degree. He completed his residency program at MetroHealth Medical CenterCase Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. During this time, he underwent extensive training in implant dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. He has also completed an implant fellowship program at New York University.

Dr. Erminy worked as an attending faculty in the hospital-based residency program at MetroHealth Medical Centerin Cleveland for five years before moving to Florida.He is passionate about restorative dentistry and surgical implants, both areas of which he has extensive training. He also takes pride in providing patients with outstanding dental care and comfort.

Together, with an elite team of professionals, my mission is to create an inviting atmosphere that makes my patients feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable. A place where proper care and great results are delivered. To educate the public on ways to maintain their oral health and be aware of how the mouth and body are all interrelated. I want my team and patients to feel the love and compassion I have, through my work and leadership skills.

Dr.Lenz was raised in Miami, Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She worked as a surgical dental assistant and a lab technician for bodies donated to science during undergraduate school.

Kandi joined Island Dentistry September of 2016, and has 20 years of experience in the medical-dental industry. Kandi enjoys volunteering in the local community, spending time traveling with her husband and son, and loves animals! When asked what brought her to Island Dentistry she said, 'I wanted to work for a company that lived their values and treated the patients like family.'

Born and raised in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Brandy joined Island Dentistry in October 2013 with over 15 years of dental experience. She has taken hours of continuing education courses and loves what she does. Brandy has a passion for dental health and genuinely cares for each patient's well-being. She has been married for 10 years and has a daughter in the veterinary field. Brandy loves being of service to her community by participating in events like 5th Quarter, a free event for high school students after football home games. Brandy's spiritual walk is very important to her, and she attends and volunteers weekly at her church.

Brittney joined Island Dentistry in June 2020. She is originally from Georgia and moved to Florida in 2013. In her spare time, Brittney enjoys spending time with her two sons and the rest of her family. She was drawn to dentistry because of the transformations made in patients lives due to a healthy mouth. She truly believes 'A smile is your greatest asset.'

Ashley is a Texas girl in a Florida world! She is a Navy veteran who loves to travel and has a thirst for outdoor adventure. She graduated from Florida State College and has been a dental hygienist for 4+ years! She joined Island Dentistry in June 2018. Ashley can also bake a mean chocolate chip cookie!

Sara joined our team October 2019 with 24 years of dental experience. She graduated from Western Kentucky University and is passionate about educating her patients while striving to provide the best patient care. Outside of work Sara enjoys anything outdoors & spending time with her husband & 3 children.

Tracy grew up in South Carolina. She first moved to NE Florida in 1995 when her husband was stationed at Naval Hospital Jax. During that time, she studied dental hygiene at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville. Tracy's love for people is what drew her to dentistry. She has met many amazing people from all around the world in her extensive travels. She enjoys learning about different cultures. Tracy has visited 8 countries and all 50 states. She has come full circle and arrived back to Fleming Island in 2021.

Hayet was born in South of France and move to the USA after meeting her sailor. After multiple duty stations, she and her husband settled in Florida and made it their permanent home. Hayet joined our office in August 2019 as a dental assistant with five years of experience in the field. She is always looking to grow her knowledge in dentistry. In her spare time, Hayet enjoys traveling and spending time with her family

Barbara was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, then moved to Lexington KY with her husband prior to coming to Florida. They moved to Florida in July of 2019. She joined Island Dentistry in July of 2020. She worked in an orthopedic medical office prior to starting her career in dental. Barbara loves photography. She captures natures scapes, horse racing, and family photos. She travels to North Carolina with her Camera Club to photograph waterfalls, sunsets and flowers.
