Dr. Coral Posert has been practicing in the Bay Area since 1987. She graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry and established her first practice in Vacaville. Eight years later, Dr. Posert moved to the East Bay where she took over a practice in Pinole and raised her children in nearby Orinda.
In 2013, Dr. Posert started Island Dental in the beautiful Richmond District of San Francisco. She has dedicated her career to offering kind, thoughtful and high quality dental care. She takes pleasure in creating smiles her patients are proud of.

Joe is a highly trained andaccomplished dental hygienist who has been practicing for 20 years. He prides himself as a skilled clinician with a wide range of experience, which allows him to provide optimal oral healthcare to his patients.
Khalid has been practicing as a Dental Hygienist for 2 years. He received his training in San Diego. Khalid loves to to educate our patients about oral care and maintenance. In has spare time, he volunteers at CDA Cares where he provides his treatment in dental hygiene. He also enjoys basketball, football, soccer and swimming.
Joy has spent the last 17 years in the dental field. She taught dental assisting at a vocational college for 8 years and has been in private practice for the last 7 years. If you have questions about dental procedures, scheduling or insurance.Joy has the answers.
Star has been a welcoming face in the dental field for 3 years. She will be the one to help younavigate throughyour insurance needs and questions. In her spare time, Star is a part of a dance company where she enjoys the excitement of performing. She also enjoys cooking and exploring San Francisco.

Island Dental is a fantastic dental practice. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and amusing, to say the least. I had a great time here. The Oral Health Therapist and Dr. Coral Posert were competent specialists who handled all of my problems.

I have never been to a better dental practice than Island Dental. Clean and welcoming, and they go above and beyond the required Covid precautions. The personnel are incredibly kind, and they provide reasonable prices for all of their services. Dr. Coral is also an expert at what she does.

I can't honestly say that I enjoy visiting the dentist, but Island Dentist comes close. The office is airy and attractive. All of the personnel are courteous and efficient. Dr Carol is also fantastic.

Island Dental is the best dentist for you if you want your swollen gums treated. In fact, they are fantastic at what they do. They treated my cavities effectively and provided me with an easy-to-follow diet plan at a reasonable price. What else could I ask for?
