Lydia is the best dental hygienist I have ever met. She is extremely gentle, smart and such a nice person. Lydia is the reason I don't feel nervous when going to the dentist, what a lovely person.

Any patient of Island Dental Group be aware that after they promise you your insurance will cover all expenses, and that they talked to your insurance, you might still get charged (we got a $1,800 bill) and they will say that even though they said all is covered, it was your responsibility to call your insurance to verify. Dr. Molinari refused to talk to me. I was at the clinic, wanted to wait for him to be free and explain. The women in the front dask said he will not talk to me, and if I don't pay, they will go to collections.

My family and I have been going to Island Dental Group for 17 years. Dr. Hershenhorn & Dr. Blum have taken care of our family and we highly recommend their skilled and knowledgeable dental care. Moreover, we all go to Lydia who is a great hygienist and makes the whole experience positive.

I have been going to Island Dental for over 12 years now and have been very happy with my experience there ever since I originally found them! I recently needed a cavity filled and Dr. Blum was absolutely wonderful! He made me feel comfortable and talked me through the process to keep my mind at ease. The office is very clean and I felt they were taking all precautions to keep everyone safe. For my cleanings, I have been going to Lydia for all these years. She has been amazing to go to! She is so friendly and welcoming and she does a very thorough job! I am so thankful that I found such a wonderful dentist. Highly recommend!! (From: Robyn Berger)

I've been going to this group for many years primarily because of Lydia, the hygienist. She is terrific, and extremely pleasant and thorough. I make it my business to therefore go every 6 months or so and therefore highly recommend this practice.

I have been coming to this top notch dental practice for 25+ years now. Dr. Hershenhorn, Lydia, and staff are a wonderful team. During this entire time, Lydia especially, has treated me with such professionalism, kindness, understanding, and patience as I am certainly not the easiest patient to deal with. She is extremely skilled, confident, knowledgeable, patient friendly and always has my best dental health and hygiene in mind. She is literally the only hygienist I will allow to treat me. I have been visiting the Island Dental Group office for a few years now. I look forward to these visits knowing that I will be taken care of by Lydia - the best hygienist in the area! She has the most gentle touch, a great personality, and makes me feel so comfortable while receiving cleanings. I've also received fantastic treatment from my dentist in the group, Dr. Blum.

I have been going to Island Dental for quite a few years. The only hygienist I am willing to see is Lydia. Lydia is very thorough, professional and friendly. Before I visited this practice, I was always afraid of going to the dentist. Since Lydia has been cleaning my teeth, the fear has subsided quite a bit. By the time Lydia is finished cleaning my teeth, I "look forward" to Dr. Molinary's check up. I feel that relaxed. Thank you Lydia

My family and I have been with this practice for almost 20 years. They are amazing! Our hygienist Lydia is great! She is always pleasant and does a fabulous job with our cleanings. The office staff is always efficient and do their best to accommodate with scheduling appointments. I would highly recommend this dental group.

When my dentist of many years retired, I was going to find a new dental office. I live about 40 minutes away from the office and I thought that I would find a dentist closer to my home in Port Washington. When I thought about having to use a new dental hygienist, I realized that I could not leave the Island Dental Group. My hygienist, Lydia, is fantastic. She is caring, competent, and professional. She makes the experience of visiting a dental office a pleasure - and I never thought that I could say those words! Thank you, Lydia!

Lydia is the only hygienist I will see. My wife goes to her as well, and will not see anyone else. I came in scared of any dental work and within minutes I was at ease. She is patient, kind, sweet and will work you through any anxieties you have. Now I look forward to going to cleanings.

Let's face it.....who looks forward to going to the dentist? Not saying I wake up excited on the day I have an appt. but going to Island Dental makes it a much better experience. I have been going there for many years and have recommended it to friends. Lydia is the dental hygienist that I see. She provides a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere which automatically makes you feel comfortable. Lydia is professional, knowledgeable and eager to help make your visit a successful one!
