Once again Dr. Tamura, his staff and Lori (Hygienist) are AWESOME!!! They have been taking care of my oral health since 2016 and I am highly satisfied. I finally convinced my husband to see Dr. Tamura and team for his care, he is kicking himself for not listening to me sooner. We are so glad to have them.

Dr. Tamura and team are a great choice for a great dental experience. I can easily see why they have been voted as "Hawaii's Best" by their patients and peers. The office is clean and well laid out, and his staff are wonderful to work with.

Dr. Tamura and his team operate a leading edge, professional, but friendly and comforting dental office. I was a little surprised with the amount of forms I had to complete before seeing the doctor, but quickly realized that even without the added concern of COVID exposure, it was necessary for the health of patients and staff. I would recommend them to everyone, even if they already have a dentist.

My cap fell out eating potato chips. Called Doc and got an appointment the very next day and I'm good to go. I also got the usual a humming And singing alone with it!! Entertainment!!

Everyone at Island Dental Group provides outstanding service. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The equipment they use at their office is cutting edge technology and not something that dates back to the 70's like my previous dentist. My family does not fear going to the dentist anymore since we switched over to IDG!

My tooth cracked in half at 3:15. Doc was able to see me at 4:00 and I walked out with a temporary crown at 5:15. Mahalo Dr. Tamara and staff!

I am happy to say that I am very pleased with the service provided by my dentist, Dr. Claude Tamura, as well as his friendly and caring team. I have done multiple visits of work on replacing my original silver fillings that I got over 20 years ago, and have replaced them with white filling, and (2) crowns. I really appreciate everything that he and his experienced and knowledgeable staff has done, to make me feel reassured that my oral hygiene is in prestine condition. Thank you so much, Dr. Tamura and the crew, for making every visit welcoming and a smooth process. At my last visit, I thought it was so awesome that they installed these tranquil and relaxing pictures of the beach; ocean; clouds; and underwater theme, in front of their L.E.D. light fixtures on the ceiling. If your going to be in a dentist chair fazing out at the ceiling, why not have something pretty darn cool to look at. It was even nice to hear kind words of appreciation from a patient that was on his way out of the dentist office with a smile on his face. "In times like these...how do I know he was smiling with a mask on....well....he had a crows feet wrinkles around his eyes." That's how I could tell he even enjoyed his dental experience. I love my pink toothbrush, thank you again, ever so kindly! Big Mahalo, Chelsea K.
