Dr. Megan Lieberenz is excited to be part of the Island Dental family. She was born in Colorado and grew up in New Mexico. She attended the University of New Mexico where she received her bachelors degree in dental hygiene. Growing up, she always wanted to be a dentist so she continued her studies at the University of Missouri Kansas City. This is where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, Dr. Lieberenz moved back to New Mexico and worked for three years in an underserved population. In 2015, Dr. Lieberenz relocated to Arizona with her family and has continued her work with the underserved here in the valley.

Dr. Lieberenz enjoys treating all ages and doing all aspects of dentistry. She continues her studies with frequent continuing education. Dr. Lieberenz and her husband, Andrew, have two daughters, Jaide and Ava. When shes not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping and quality time with her family.

I have been engaged in private practice as a general dentist since 1994 providing patients with all aspects of dentistry including high quality restorative, orthodontic, endodontic, oral surgery, and implant dentistry in a fee for service environment. In July 2000 my professional life changed forever when I integrated surgical implant placement into my practice. Since then I have placed and restored over 1600 implants from single tooth immediate placement through full arch applications.

Christi has been in the field since 1991 and has over 20 years experience. She graduated in 1996 from NAU with a BS degree in Biology and Psychology. Christi entered the dental field as a dental assistant and transitioned to the front office in 2000. As our front office coordinator, she can assist you with all of your front office needs such as financial arrangements, insurance, treatment plans, and scheduling.

Van started working in the dental field in 2014. Although being fairly new, she always had a strong interest in the field and cant imagine herself anywhere else. She moved to Arizona from Colorado in 2013 and has been enjoying going to new places and meeting new people. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and being with family and friends.

Marissa is an Arizona native and has worked in the dental field since 2012. Although having started very young in the field, she has always had a strong interest in the dental field and cant imagine herself anywhere else! In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, social events, and hanging out with family and friends.

Casey has been working in the dental field since 1997. She has 10 years of dental assisting experience. Casey transitioned to the front office 1 year ago and can help you with insurance, scheduling and treatment needs. She is married and has 4 children and loves spending time with her family. Casey enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, snowboarding, long boarding, and playing at the beach as much as possible.

Liz has been in the dental field since 1998 and started her career in California where she was born and raised. She is a Registered Dental Assistant in California and also graduated from the Bryman College in 2003 as a Certified Hemodialysis Technician. She has been Dr. Patels head dental assistant since she moved out here in 2010. She is currently attending Chandler-Gilbert Community College working on her Dental Hygiene degree. Liz is fluent in Spanish.In her free time, she loves spending time with her daughter as they both enjoy cheering for the Steelers and Dodgers! Their hobbies are hiking, going to live theaters, and shopping.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Karen moved to Arizona in 2001. Karen attended dental assisting school in Milwaukee, WI and has been working as a dental assistant since 1990. She loves the hands-on opportunities of dental assisting and the patient interaction. She is living in south Gilbert and is married with 2 children.She enjoys the outdoors, love to hike, bike and Zumba! She also has a passion for travel and is very interested in exploring other cultures, plus she is a huge beach bum and dreams of living on a tropical island.

Mollie loves her job as a dental hygienist. After graduating from Mesa Community College in 2010 and Rio Salado Dental Hygiene School in 2012, she found a real home with Island Dental. She takes patient care very seriously and strives to improve oral health with the latest technology, products and procedures.When shes not scaling and root planing, she enjoys life with her husband and her furry-family.

Laura has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. She started off with Dental Assisting for 7 years then moved to Buffalo, NY in 1994 to go to hygiene school at St. Erie College. She graduated in 1998 at the top of her class. Laura cares about each individual patient and strives to improve oral health while using the latest technology and techniques.Laura moved to Fountain Hills, AZ in 1982 with her family and has one son and one daughter. Most of her extra time is spent traveling with her daughters soccer club team. She enjoys yoga, hiking, and camping.
