Kathleen is a 30-year veteran at Island Cosmetic & Family Dentistry so she has earned her title as business manager. She was born and raised in the Chicago, Illinois area where she attended Northern Illinois University and earned her Bachelor's degree.
Dr. Boers grew up in a farming community in Central Illinois where he attended undergraduate school at Northern Illinois University and Loyola University. He earned his degree in psychology with minor areas of study in business and biology.
Dr. Misch was raised in Rockledge, Florida where he attended Florida Tech and completed his undergraduate studies. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida and completed specialty training in periodontics and dental implants at the University of Florida. He has been practicing dentistry in Central Florida for 16 years.

I was in Cocoa Beach for my 34th Anniversary, I woke up with a tooth ache. I called Island Cosmetic & Family Dental, they got me in within the hour. Very friendly & super nice staff. I highly recommend

Customer service is terrible, I called to see if me denture was in after they canceled my appointment a hour before my appointment the girl said I told you I would call With a attitude but once again they never called. After a week went by so I called sure enough they were were in an they never called for the second and probably it was three times, nothing tops they forgot to order my temporary denture so I let it go since they told me I would have my permanent dentures in a few weeks but no that's not all they refuse to adjust the bill they say it's the same price regardless , I guess it's hard to find good help

I can't say enough good things about this place!! Both doctors are amazing and the staff is top notch! My girl Allison is super fantastic! Thank you all for making me smile..

My experience was awesome. The staff was very knowledgeable and informative. The dentist takes the conservative approach to help the patient's budget. Tonya was excellent! She gave me a great cleaning and was so patient with me. Bev, was very helpful too. Great place to go for your teeth. Believe me, I never give reviews. Cos. Dentistry of CB, rocks!

So glad I changed dentist! Island Dentistry has Great service and everyone is so friendly! Dr Boers was very nice, professional and was not pushy for you doing something unnecessary! Madison my dental hygienist was awesome and for the first time my mouth didn't hurt when finished with the cleaning. Highly recommend Island Dentistry!

Wow, I don't like the dentist very much, and have been having such a hard time finding one that I like, but this place was amazing! Super clean and warm environment. My technician was Michelle and she is so sweet and kept a conversation the entire time. Her cleaning was very thorough but didn't leave my mouth sore like other dentist offices had prior. Dr. Boers was also very kind and thorough and even checked the tissue of my mouth to make sure everything was healthy (first time any dentist has done that). I am so happy to have found an office that I am happy to return to!

Island cosmetic dentistry is the nicest dental facility I've ever been to. It is extremely clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Boers is a phenomenal, knowledgeable dentist. I look forward to going to the dentist since I've been with their practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boers for more than 10 years. He was recommended by my sister. I had a dentist that was doing unnecessary work and charging me a fortune. Dr. Boers reviewed the plan, examined me and reassured me I didn't need the work. He has taken great care of me over the years. I had cosmetic dental work done too and it looks beautiful. There is no pain with Dr. Boers. I cannot say enough about what a great a dentist he is. how caring he is, how wonderful his support staff is and how happy I am that I was referred to him.

Dr Boers is great. He is very clear about treatment plans and is always happy and easy to talk to. His staff is professional and very pleasant as well. I have never (in approximately 12 years) waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment to start. This office is always very welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend this office.

Don't believe the billing department. Do your own insurance homework prior to making appointments no matter what they tell you. They lie just to get you in, then bill you for the service months later.

Dr. Boers and his staff are amazing, I cannot say enough good things about them. Every procedure done has been flawless, and there has been many! If it was not for Dr. Boers, I do not think I would have ever been able to overcome my fear of the dentist, he is that good!
