Dr. Keith (Payton) earned his dual degrees in Marketing and Biology from the University of Central Florida (UCF). While attending UCF Dr. Payton conducted research in Nanobiotechnology and published two papers. He then decided to attend dental school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville graduating with honors (a member of OKU). His passion for Orthodontics carried him to Case Western Reserve University in Ohio to complete his formal education obtaining a Masters of Science in Orthodontics.
He is member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Tennessee Dental Association.Dr. Keith is a Board Eligible orthodontist.
While Florida might be where Dr. Keith spent most of his life, he has found a home in Tennessee with his wife, Felicia and their sons, Kalani and Akari. He also has two furkids: Pumpernickel and Bella. When he isnt in the office helping patients discover their beautiful smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family (near a beach), watching soccer and doing anything artistic.

We were referred to Dr. Payton at Island Breeze Orthodontics by our dentist. Dr. Payton and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful especially if you are new to braces. Anytime we have had questions or concerns they have quickly given us a time slot or helped us work through the problem over the phone. I appreciate the honest feedback that I received when my second child was sent in for an evaluation for braces and Dr. Payton said we would be fine waiting to add a second set to the family. Thank you Dr. Payton and Island Breeze Staff!

5 stars would recommend for anybody!! Dr. Keith and all the staff are so much fun to be around and made my experience having braces as an adult so worth it. They also worked very well with my schedule. I LOVE Island Breeze!!

I absolutely love Island Breeze! They impressed me during my first initial visit when the consultation and x-rays were free. It's a service they like to provide to the community, humbley. Dr. Keith Payton and all staff are amazing. He was at the front desk when I walked in and he gladly checked me in. He didn't bother to grab the receptionist who had briefly stepped away. He is SO family oriented, pleasant, personable and fun. All staff is amazing. Good job guys !

We have been going to Island Breeze for over a year. They are always professional and super nice. Dr. Keith always takes the time to explain thoroughly every process to my daughter. She had to have braces at 7yr old and he always made her comfortable and made sure she understood what was going on. Highly recommend them to anyone. We will go back for her phase 2 braces when the time comes!

Everyone at Island Breeze is amazing! So polite and courteous. They not only explained the process of my daughter getting braces to me but directly to my daughter. They let her ask questions and addressed her concerns. We've only had a consultation and one appointment and my daughter loves Dr. Keith!

I have always been uneasy about dental/orthodontic treatment however after a friend telling me about Dr. Keith I decided to give Island Breeze a try. Dr. Keith and his staff are great. I went with the Invisalign treatment and saw remarkable results within 10 months. The entire process was explained to me and different options laid out for my treatment. Needless to say I am very happy with the results.

I went in for my daughter's ortho treatment. My daughter was very scared of a dentist until this experience. Dr. Payton's bedside manner was absolutely incredible. He was very patient with her and made her feel at ease. The office was very clean and you can tell they go the extra mile to make sure to make sure our experience is a great one.
