I went here for endodontist to have root canal treatment and i went back to check whether the teeth healed as per schedule. The doctor agreed to have the crowning done by my dentist but did not send the report to my dentist. When i enquired later, they did send the report saying patient wanted to go ahead with the crown. That is a misstatement of the fact and discussion we had. I would suggest to look for alternative options if you need root canal treatment.

Dr.Pai was amazing !! I was so nervous to get a root canal but she comforted me and made sure I was doing okay throughout the whole procedure. I didn't feel a thing, honest! I would HIGHLY recommend her.

I cannot think this doctor enough. She did a root canal on me today. I have put this off for so long because of an experience I had 20 years ago with a root canal that left me hospitalized and terrified of doctors and dentists ever cents. She was so incredibly patient, and so incredibly professional, and so warm. She spent 45 minutes making sure that the Novocain had numbed me so that I felt absolutely nothing except for that very first Novocain needle. I had headphones on with music blaring the entire time and she did her thing. And when she tapped my arm to tell me that it was all over I was absolutely stunned in disbelief that I felt nothing. She didn't even seem to mind that the moment I sat down in the chair I started to cry and I think I might've been hyperventilating a little lol I highly strongly and warmly recommend this amazing human being. If you need a root canal this is absolutely the place to go. God bless this doctor.

My experience with this practice has been disappointing, to say the least. My regular dentist referred me to another endodontist for root canal. That dentist, who I've seen several times, no longer takes my insurance. After dealing with the insurance company and going down their list of providers, I scheduled an appointment with Dr Pai, whose practice is a one hour drive from my home.At this appointment she took an exray, began drilling the cap (which despite novacaine was painful) and said that she cannot see the area clearly. She said my dentist needs to remove the cap so she can proceed. ( In my experience the endodontist always removes the cap, does the root canal and puts on a temporary cap.) She also said root canal always involves more than one appointment. They took my copay payment at that appointment. I saw my dentist and he removed the cap. I returned to DrPai today. She took another exray and said she does not think I should save the tooth due to decay, and it should be pulled. I asked about my $182 copay for the root canal that she did not perform. She said she will contact the insurance company and I "should get something credited." I was frankly relieved to not have her do the work as my confidence dropped after the first appointment. Had I been told to have the cap removed before the first appointment of course I would have done so. Huge disappointment that I was given such a run around, and spent needless time and money with no treatment. I would not return to this practice should I need another root canal.

I had the worst experience with Cheryl, the receptionist!! I was told that she was rude but still decided to go there because Dr. Pai came strongly recommended and I wanted the best care for my 15-year old daughter who was in pain. Every time I spoke to her she was so rude. We saw Dr. Pai who recommended that my daughter see a periodontist because she needed crown lengthening done. I really likes her. After seeing a periodontist I was told that the root canal needed to be done first. Spoke to Cheryl on the phone and told her what the periodontist said and she said that she was going to talk to Dr. Pai and call me back. She hang up the phone so fast that I did not even get the chance to tell her the reasons why the periodontist said the root canal needed to be done first. Went back and fourth on the phone with Cheryl and I asked to speak to Dr. Pai to explain what the periodontist said. She said that they were closing and did not have time to speak. I called another day and asked to speak to Dr. Pai just to receive a call back from Cheryl stating that Dr. Pai asked that we see another Endodantist because she no longer wanted to see my daughter because I did not agree with Dr. Pai's treatment plan. Not sure what Cheryl told Dr. Pai, but that was not true at all. I trusted Dr. Pai and wanted her to do the root canal. I just needed to talk to her to explain what the periodontist said. I was also calling the periodontist to see if he could call Dr. Pai and figure out a treatment plan and not sure if he called her so I wanted to follow up. To me it did not matter what was done first. Meantime, my daughter was in pain and as a parent I just wanted to find a good endorsement to do the root canal. Waited for a month to see Dr. Pai just to be told that they no longer wanted to see my daughter. It is just sad that when you are in need of medical attention you have to deal with people who are so rude.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Pai and her office. Having to get a root canal, let alone having tooth pain, can be extremely stressful and scary. Dr. Pai is a true artist at what she does and puts your mind at ease. She will go out of her way to fit you in or even stay late if you're in pain and in dire need of emergency dental care. Her staff, Kathleen and Cheryl are the best and the three of them make an excellent team. There is no one else I would trust to handle my "curvy" roots!

Dr. Pai and her office are exceptional! Her staff is extremely caring and goes out of their way to accommodate me when I have a dental emergency. Dr. Pai always makes sure that I am comfortable and every step of the process is explained. I can't thank her enough for the care she has provided me with over the years.

I've been to Dr. Pai a handful of times for minor to major repairs and she always takes great care when it comes to her specialty of root canal therapy. She is very thorough and I would definitely recommend anyone that is in need of that type of procedure to her. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Pai is the best and her staff, Kathleen and Cheryl, are exceptional! The kindness, care and excellent treatment I received was greatly appreciated and certainly helped to calm my nerves. I have to say the root canal was painless! If you need a root canal I highly recommend this office. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had a root canal done by Dr. Pai recently. When I called the office Cheryl, the receptionist, was nice and accommodating. She was also very helpful with information in regards to my dental insurance. Dr. Pai was very gentle and talked to me during the entire procedure as did her assistant, Kathleen. Everyone in this office was very nice. It definately was a positive experience for me. Thank you Dr. Pai and staff.

My experience with this dental practice and more specifically Cheryl, the receptionist, started off as a positive one. When I first called in to inquire about the doctor's services, Cheryl looked into my dental coverage to advise what my out of pocket expense would be, she contacted my general dentist to see what work had been done on my tooth so far, and she helped me set up an appointment. That is where my positive experience ended unfortunately. The day before my scheduled appointment I was advised I had potentially been exposed to COVID. Not wanting to take any chances, I immediately called the office to advise them of the exposure and asked to reschedule the appointment. Since I was not sure at the time if I was positive or not, Cheryl told me to wait a few days, get tested, and call back to reschedule. Luckily, I was negative and I called back in to reschedule on a Thursday afternoon. Cheryl picked up the phone after 2 rings and said she remembered who I was. She then advised me that she was too busy to look at the schedule to see when I could be "fit in" and I would need to wait until early next week when she would call me with availability. I was a bit confused, especially since Cheryl picked up the phone so quickly so the office didn't seem that busy, but I said okay and waited for her call. I did not hear back from Cheryl Monday morning, so by the afternoon, I contacted the office again. At this point, my tooth was causing me some pain so I was eager to make an appointment. Again, Cheryl picked up rather quickly and knew who I was. That is when she snapped at me and said she would call me at the beginning of the week so she didn't understand why I was calling in. I apologized and told her I looked forward to her call soon. Days went by and I heard nothing. That Thursday, now a week after I initially tried to reschedule my appointment, I tried calling again. Once again, Cheryl picked up promptly and knew who I was. I told her that it was now the end of the week and considering that the office is not open on Fridays, I was eager to make an appointment. Cheryl advised me that the office was simply too busy to look into the schedule and I would need to wait for her call. I responded back asking if they simply did not want me as a patient for some reason. Cheryl just responded again with how busy they were and she would call me. It has now been more than 3 weeks since I initially called to reschedule my appointment and Cheryl has yet to call me back. I have since found a much friendlier endodontist's office and have had my tooth fixed. I have never experienced such blatant negative customer service in my life. Cheryl should not be representing this dental practice and I hope the doctor sees the multiple negative Google reviews of Cheryl and takes appropriate action.

I was in pain and needed treatment right away. I was given the names of several endodontists (in the Poughkeepsie-Fishkill-Kingston areas)-Dr. Isabelle Brunetti-Pai was the only one who offered a speedy appointment without a week's wait (one in Poughkeepsie wanted me to wait two weeks) She is gentle and efficient and went to a top dental school. Her front desk person (I believe her name is Cheryl) was professional, mentioned COVID protocols and her paperwork asked relevant questions. No other office I called mentioned anything about COVID (and I called several) which surprised me. Also took my temperature. They are taking care to ensure social distancing -making sure that there aren't multiple people in the reception area. I was impressed and it was a pleasant experience.

Day 4 of no call back. Isabelle is a great dentist but the receptionist is one of the most unprofessional people that I have delt with. My temp filling fell out and i have left several messages for a call back and nothing. And i doubt the receptions is even relaying the message. unfortunate that I will be going somewhere else over the rude receptionist.

Dr. Brunetti-Pai is the best! I was having severe tooth pain and she was able to stay open late and perform a root canal all within hours of my phone call. This was my first visit, but certainly not my last. I definitely recommend her for your dental needs!
