Dr. Steve Irwin has been practicing dentistry in Orange County since 1991. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. He did his undergraduate work at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and in London, England at the University of England to receive his BS degree in Human Biology. He has special interest in orthodontics, dental implants, & cosmetic smile enhancement.
A hallmark of his practice is the friendliness and professionalism of his staff. He's also the 4th generation to serve the Whittier/La Mirada area. He practiced with his father (also a dentist) for 15 years before his retirement in 2004. His grandfather was a pharmacist, & his great grandfather a cement contractor that laid some of the original streets & sidewalks in this area.
He lives with his wife Melanie, triplet boys Jared, Caleb, & Ethan, daughter Ella - and their two golden retrievers, Maddie & Max. He's active in their local church, and when he's not spending time with his family - he enjoys playing piano, running, surfing, & trail-bike riding.
