Dr. Cohen grew up in Westfield New Jersey and attended Westfield High School in Westfield, New Jersey. From there Dr. Cohen received a B.A. in History from Syracuse University. He received his dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry now Rutgers University where he received his D.M.D. . After graduating, Dr. Cohen completed a Fellowship in Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, University Hospital.
Dr. Cohen then joined the Bayonne Dental Group in Bayonne New Jersey, where he practiced for 20 years. During his first two years of practice Dr. Cohen received a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the New Jersey Implant Institute. Dr. Cohen continued his education by completing the necessary prerequisites to obtain a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Cohen then went on to complete his certification to become an Invisalign preferred provider.
Dr. Cohen prides himself on being available to his patients whether it be a simple filling or a painful emergency. He has always advocated that no one should have to deal with pain and be in discomfort. He has been a member of the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry and became President in January 2022.
Dr. Peter Tylawsky is our newest team member at Ironbound Dental. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and continued his education at the NYU College of Dentistry. He then completed his General Practice Residency and a second year as a chief resident at NYU Langone - Brooklyn. Dr. Tylawsky'sskill set and dental expertise will be valuable to both the staff and patients at Ironbound Dental.
Dr. Di Cesare received his Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his General Practice Residency from NYU, Langone Hospital (Formerly Lutheran Medical Center). Dr. Di Cesare received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry. He also served as a cadet among Virginia Military Institute Corps of Cadets and completed his Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Mount St. Marys University.
Dr. Beydoun, our periodontist, has been successfully practicingperiodontics and dental implantology for almost 15 years. He initiallyrecieved his DMD degree from Boston University in 1994. He then ccompleted3 years of rigorous training in Periodontics and dental implants, inaddition to a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology at the University ofMedicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Beydoun accomplished the prestegious and demanding step of becoming aBoard Certified periodontist and dental implantologist in 1997. Currentlyhe serves as a part-time clinical professor at UMD-NJ.
Dr. Beydoun takes special interest in the field of esthetic periodonticsand dental implants. Therefore, he is constantly working to enhance hisknowledge and technical skills in those areas by attending CE courses andspecialty conferences, including the field of Laser dentistry.
Cindy makes all of our patients feel welcome in our office and alsoserves as a treatment coordinator, insurance processor, and mostimportantly makes sure that our office runs efficiently. She came towork here aftergraduating with a B.S. in Marketing. Cindy truly enjoys seeing thedifference ideal dental health can make in the lives of our patients.In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading,and going to the gym.
She graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Rutgers University. Sheis very passionate about the dental field and strives to make patients feelcomfortable while in her chair. Carol likes getting to know her patientsneeds, while educating and helping maintain healthy and beautiful smiles.She enjoys spending her free time with her family, traveling and going tothe beach.
Carina has been a shining addition to our team for 2+ years.Carina is one of our dental administrators here at Ironbound Dental. You can find at the front desk with a smile on her face and an iced coffee in her hand.
On her spare time she enjoys taking long drives to the beach accompanied by her dog Gordo in which she loves tremendously. She is very family-oriented and has a great heart which exudes positivity throughout the office.
Nicolle has been part of the Ironbound Dental family for the past 5 years. She is one of our amazing office administrators who also has assisting knowledge! You can find her at the front desk going over treatment with patients or sometimes you can find her in the back helping the dental assistants.
Nicolle spends her free time doing what a girl does best ... SHOPPING! Her favorite store is Marshalls ! If you need to know where the good sales are at she will direct you in the right direction. She also enjoys taking vacations to the Caribbean.
Catarina is our youngest team member. You can find her all over the office from assisting the doctors to working the front desk. She is a senior in high school with aspirations to become an orthodontist.
Catarina is one of the sweetest people you can come across. On her free time she enjoys singing , sometimes you can even catch her singing in the office. Her charisma is extremely contagious and if youre having a bad a day, she is guaranteed to turn your frown upside down !
